We have dinner with several couples every month to try a new place. This was the choice. We make reservations early because we can usually sit at a big table and talk comfortably. 5pm reservations , we were the only people there. They had us squished (7 people) so we ask for a little extra room and they accommodated us... More

The food, service, and price was good. We had planned to eat at the Pit just across the street but the wait was an hour and a half. We walked down to Tuscan Blu. The restaurant was empty save for a family of 3 in the corner. We were asked if we had reservations. When we said no, the host... More

My parents found Tuscan Blu and could not wait to take me. We were able to linger and take our time with dinner and visiting. We were there for about 3 hours which is typical for dining in Italy. They had three specials which sounded fabulous. I started with the Gorgonzola salad and had the Kale Ravioli special which was... More

My family was visiting the Raleigh area for a college visit. We always look for something that we can't get in Kentucky...the local cuisine. Tuscan Blu is the only restaurant I would go back to a city and visit just to eat there again. I had the Portobello Ravioli and my husband & daughter had the Lasagna. Excellent food, atmosphere,... My husband brought me here for Mother's Day and it was just like being back in Italy. The food is authentic, delicious, Tuscan style with items on the menu that you don't see at every restaurant. This makes them unique. The staff were very attentive and the service was impeccable. My husband requested to go back on Father's Day. We... More

We had a great meal there. The food is always fresh and has true Tuscan flavors. The wine selection and atmosphere cannot be beat. Don't miss the tiramisu to finish the meal off.

I took my wife and family out for dinner (her birthday). It is a neat area but food was sub par. Granted I have a wife who comes from a long line of great Italian cooks. The gravy/sauce was too bright and lacked any depth of flavor (your basic jarred pasta sauce). I ordered the filet, which I am not... More

This place is a genuine Italian restaurant, no comparison with other large chain Italian restaurants. The chef Italian, that is how you cook original Italian food. I had veggie lasagna and it was very good. We will definitely come back...

The open beams and touches of color in this cozy, restored train depot building provided a rich atmosphere for relaxing conversation. Even with a full house, our group of 7 were quickly seated and did not feel rushed. We were instead encouraged to linger with our courses of food and wine, just like any restaurant experience in Italy! I felt... More
