Nice business lunch

Went here last week for a business lunch, and glad we tried it. Heard from another coworker about Tuscan Blu, who is a real foodie, and figured we'd try it. First off, the bread with the dipping oil was a nice treat. I could live on that alone....however, ordered one of the many lunch... read more

Let me start with: I gave a 2 rating only because the food was decent, (not great...the chocolate dessert came out still slightly frozen. Who serves pre-packaged frozen desserts during restaurant week?) Service, however, would get a .5 if that were an option. Walked in at 7:30 on a Saturday clearly prepared for a long wait. Was told it would... More

Everything was delicious and made by a chef. The flavors were perfectly accented and unique. I loved it, and the rustic but elegant candlelit feel. The house wine is very delicious also! My husband and I highly reccommend this place l!

This is my one of my favorite restaurants. Staff and Chef are always so kind. Love to take friends for lunch as the lunch specials are wonderfully priced, perfectly proportioned and always so good! For dinner, it's the perfect spot for visiting guests or just some time for my husband and I to go out together. The food is always... More

Corporate dinner proved disappointing. Clearly a staff that needs training, with lack of responsiveness to the most basic requests. I was clear in ordering my entree that I wanted medium to medium rare for my "Angus beef" entree. It came out completely cooked through. NO staff was available to even address the issue. After attempting to make my way through... More

I have dined at the Tuscan Blu restaurant on multiple occasions and I am truly amazed with each experience. The food is fabulous---the wait staff is superb--the owners are charming----and the atmosphere is enchanting. I have had many of the menu items at different times---since it isn't too far from my office, I often take colleagues there for lunch. They... More

We keep on finding good Italian restaurants. This is good. We like Italian. Went out on a Sat nite with another couple. Every restaurant in the area was so full they were no longer taking reservations. Happened upon Tuscan Blu and we saw that there were tables available. There were a number of favorable reviews so we decided to give... More

This place is a true gem downtown! While visiting Raleigh for a conference I ate here multiple times in 3 days! I can personally recommend the "SPAGHETTINI DIAVOLO" , "BOWTIE AI CARCIOFI w/Shrimp" and the "INSALATA SALMONE". All were wonderful and the bread was great too! The service was as excellent as the food - don't miss this place!

While traveling through Raleigh, we looked on TripAdvisor for an Italian Restaurant recommendation. We were not disappointed. The owners are "hands on" in every way. Greeting us as if we were family, recommending outstanding pasta dishes, and created the food from complete scratch. Fresh ingredients, tasty sauces, and great service were just a few wonderful highlights. Love that they are... More
