We actually just stopped in here while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. The owner was quite personable and we ended up just eating dinner here. Very good Italian food. Probably one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to.

We had a lovely time at Tuscan Blu for my birthday. The owner was sweet and caring and I could tell they have a lot of love invested in the restaurant. The waiter was sweet and not obnoxious or over-the-top. The meal was amazing! We were both stuffed. We finished our meal with a slice of cheesecake and coffee. The... More

Sent back old nasty lobster ravioli after one taste and the obnoxious rude owner came out to tell us they were fresh and he wasn't taking them off the bill and accused us of playing games. The menu is very misleading - ravioli is described as fresh but none of the pasta is made in house. Kitchen Nightmares perfect fit... More

I have heard good comments about Tuscan Blu, so my wife and I decided this evening to try it. We were not prepared for it...it was more than a dining experience. This was one of those engaging events you have once a decade. The food was excellent, wine was well matchedt, the dining room perfect; then came the best part...wonderful... More

The food and staff at Tuscan Blu are top notch, among the best in Raleigh. You will not be disappointed in trying them. Their lasagna is mind-blowing good.

My husband and I first visited Tuscan Blu on Valentines Day last year and we really enjoyed it. Absolutely LOVE the pasta primavera! We went again last night with the whole family and everyone loved their food! We have recently been to Italy and this food truly reminded us of some of the food there. And the owner, though a... We were in town for a concert and tried Tuscan Blue. As we got out of the car, there was a heavenly smell of NC BBQ! We found out later it was coming from The Pit across the street. Wish we had gone there! We were a party of 6 and had an early reservation. 3 of us had the... More

Before I start, let me say I have been in this restaurant a good multiple times. From a few date nights to New Years Eve to Valentine's Day. Every time, the establishment seems to get worse. I don't understand who is letting them false advertise. I don't have to be a chef or a good critic to realize that, be... More

Should have know when walking in at 8:45 on a Friday night and the restaurant being half empty that it was a poor choice.. However we are not in down town Raleigh often so we thought what the heck? Service was slow and not very welcoming... Food was bland and was clearly not fresh pasta. My bow tie dish was... More

Although the gluten free options are few, the spinach and ricotta ravioli I ordered was perfect. It didn't taste like gluten free pasta at all. Also, it did not make me sick like other restaurants that have "gf" options. My family ordered regular pastas and we're equally pleased. I would highly recommend this restaurant, whether you're gluten free or not.
