This place will satisfy your cravings for real Italian food. Thin crust pizzas cooked in a brick oven are delicious, but this is not a pizza joint. While the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is casual, it is still a place to celebrate a special occasion.

Paparazzi is a great restaurant in Lafayette Village in North Raleigh. I was recently there for lunch but have been in the past for dinner and many times for brunch. The lunch menu had salads, sandwiches, pizza, and pasta options. The pizzas are so very good and I had those at brunch before and the pasta is what I normally... More

People seem to love this place but I think they could take it up a notch or ten with their food. Aside from the salted garlic butter that accompanies the bread, the food was very bland and uneventful. My husband and I had the pasta special. It was a lot of mushy "espresso" pasta with a few pieces of shrimp... More

Half-priced wines by the bottler or glass on Wednesday nights. A strange, overpowering smell permeated the dining room at one point. Smelled to me like burning plastic. Thank goodness we had no food in front of us at the time. Papperdelle special was a mess. Fish was overcooked and so was pasta. Instead of lovely, singular noodles, I had a... More

My wife and I went here for lunch while browsing around Lafayette Village. We had a calzone and pizza. Both had fresh ingredients and toppings, and both tasted great! It's very clean and the interior seems new and the service was great. The prices were above average for lunch, but well worth it. I definitely recommend this place!

Again, Raleigh shows it's not the city for great Italian food. Paparazzi is in an upscale area and I was expecting some serious Italian cooking. We went for lunch to try it out. Pasta with a sauce, not a meat sauce, just a plain sauce, is $12 - $14 for lunch without salad or drink. I decided to get a... More

Quirky location (french town setup), good atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent fare. The restaurant is dimmed with pictures of celebrities adorning the walls-Hepburn, Travolta, Sinatra... Someone stood by a pizza oven tossing fresh dough into the air for fresh crusts for artisan pizzas, the swing back and forth of the kitchen door revealed workers putting together what seemed like fresh ingredients... I had high hopes from the reviews and the restaurant's proclamation that everyone is treated like a star at Paparazzi. Not so for our table. We visited as a group of 6 for an early 5 pm reservation. We were seated promptly but that was the end of the good service. After waiting a very long time for beverages (a... More

Love this place, service has always been terrific, food is awesome, pizzas are cooked in a wood fireplace. The restaurant has a great decor and always feels warm and cozy.

We went for the Sunday Brunch and it was outstanding. It is a gourmet buffet with anything from pizza to made to order omelets. I think the price was $21.95... plus this included unlimited mimosas, coffee, tea, soft drinks, and fruit juice. It is beautiful inside as well. It was a little noisy but it was very busy! Would def... More
