Decent and convenient

If you're staying at the Marriot, it's late and you don't want to venture very far, this is a good place to go. It's greek food and it's pretty good. I have had better but, for the price and location, it wasn't that bad.

We've eaten Lebanese food all over the world, but Shish Kabob remains one of our favorites, simply because the food really is Lebanese food. We can get the kind of pickles we like, they'll put French fries in our sandwiches, and the hommous isn't ruined by extra ingredients. It's value priced, too - perfect place for a fast meal or... Found this cool place walking from the Marriott Hotel in Downtown Raleigh. The food was so good that I went twice is 3 days! The Steak and Chicken Kabobs are both incredible.

PROS: Good food Quick service CONS: Small building so it fills up for lunch and there is no inside seating. It's hours are limited, it is not open very late and not at all on Sunday.

Went here again for the second time in May. Had the veggie gyro and stuffed grape leaves. It made for the perfect lunch! The prices are great for what you get. The service is good!

Even though it qualifies as fast food, this place has the best lamb gyros and kabobs around Raleigh. And their other offerings (pita, hummus, tabouli, greek salads, etc.) are all top notch. I would place their food above Neomonde, Greek Fiesta, etc. any day. My comments are for their branch in Pinecrest Shopping Center out on Leesville Rd.

This is a take out restaurant - - it has a few chairs for a lunch counter, but essentially its take-out. That being said, you will not be disappointed with anything I've ordered. The ingredients are fresh, or as fresh as a gyro block can be anyway. If you get the kafta kabobs make sure they cook them thoroughly, I've... More

It's a small place, so seating outside in the plaza is a must. The staff was friendly and the lamb gyros are great. Fresh toppings and some of the best pita bread, make this an authentic dish. I don't know if the hummus was homemade or not, but it was good. The prices were a little high, but the food... More

Best gyro in Raleigh!! Juicy lamb and beef with fresh tomatoes and cucumber sauce that did not over power the rest of the ingredients.

I was visiting from Baltimore, Maryland and was lucky enough to purchase lunch on Sat. April 6. I ordered the veggie platter and it was more than delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The falafel transported me back to Egypt where I had them for the first time. If I ever get back to Raleigh, you will be my first stop.... More
