Description: Ask any Italian-American what ‘gravy’ is, and they'll tell you it's the pasta sauce that their mothers and grandmothers cooked fresh every night. At Gravy Restaurant we take the same care, preparing our signature sauce every day using select tomatoes and locally grown herbs. The heart and soul poured into the preparation of traditional Italian-American dishes pairs with inspired modern twists and a focus on seasonal ingredients to define Gravy’s unique approach to this classic cuisine.

We did not make reservations so when we got there we had the option of sitting outside (which it was muggy) or sitting downstairs. We opted for downstairs and although it was much quieter, I would prefer to sit upstairs next time because downstairs did have a musty smell to it and it was very dark. Seems like the owners... More

After reading the great reviews my expectations were high. With open tables in the front of the restaurant we were seated in the back near the basement staires. As soon as we sat down we could smell a very strong musty odor, and it became so strong we asked to be moved. Our waiter was just subpar, his lack of... More

Eggplant pie with gravy (marinara) was outstanding. Poached eggs on polenta was somewhat small. My daughter tried my eggplant pie and said she would order that next time over the poached eggs. Huevos Jesus was tasty but a little bland. The food seemed very fresh. We would return. Recommended.

My girlfriend and I visited Gravy before we went to Charlie Goodnights on a Saturday evening. I made early reservations (5:30) to give us plenty of time to enjoy what Gravy had to offer and still get to the 7:30 show on time. Gravy has a very casual-trendy feel that does not overwhelm you. Only knowing that they served Italian-American... More

Amazing food. The garlic knots are great. Soda tasted flat. Clean. Friendly staff. Would return again. $1.25/hr for parking.

Our meal at Gravy was good but not great. I would recommend it though. This place is very popular and not very big.

We tried this restaurant based on the other reviews and were not disappointed. We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was very busy/loud at 7pm when we arrived. Despite the crowd, we were seated quickly and our service was great. The food was delicious. I can highly recommend the lasagna and the risotto balls.

We read about it on Trip Advisor and tried it. It was just as good as everyone said. Kinda hard to spot driving by as the building is small out front. We were very pleased.

The food was really good and the service was great. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the various dishes offered. We even made room for dessert! I would come back here again.

I've been to Gravy several times and have always enjoyed the experience. The food is great and the portions are fair. I recommend making reservations if you are going on a weekend evening as it does get crowded. The bar area is small, so not a great place to get drinks. There is an upstairs seating area and a downstairs... More
