You will a good meal here, some items are great. Kale and beet salad delish and partial to Bolognese sauce with pappardelle. Quiet week night early on, however also went on a weekend and the bar / restaurant packed. Good vibe. Liked some of the " original " items , E.g. bone marrow. Worth a trip downtown.

Very good food and fresh ingredients made for a very pleasant visit while we were in Raleigh. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Pasta was al dente, meatballs(3) plentiful and very lean and the red sauce tasty and light, all to my satisfaction. My wife had the ravioli in a very tasty buttery sauce which she thoroughly enjoyed. We shared... More

This was our second time to Gravy and we were not disappointed. The fried risotto balls are like mozzarella sticks for grown-ups, absolutely amazing. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that the item I had back in February was no longer on the menu!

We walked in early without reservations and were impressed with the teamwork of the staff and quiet atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was freshly prepared & delicious. Reminded us of a small New York Italian neighborhood restaurant. Very friendly staff.

Great food. Fresh ingredients. Friendly staff. Menu selections were unique; asperagus on the bruchetta, housemade items. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable.

My family and I recently had lunch at Gravy after receiving reccomendations from friends. We were looking for a nice restaurant that would take reservations after my daughters High School Graduation. So needless to say we were hoping for a special experience. The restaurant was very understaffed. Only 2 servers with over half the restaurant filled with graduation parties. A... More

I have been here several times and always recommend it to people just visiting the area. The food is Italian and locally made. They make their own meats and cheeses. They are well positioned for parking as they are next to a parking garage with free parking on the weekends. If you don't make a reservation you may get relegated... More

The food is good and they have great sandwich's as well as heavy, classic Italian food. My last visit the hostess couldn't decide where to seat us and we followed her to 4 tables before she brought us back to the table at the very front. That is minor. They take reservations which are helpful as it can be a... More

My party of four were very disappointed by our server at a visit to Gravy on May 15th 2015. Gravy is one of our favorite Raleigh restaurants, and we looked forward to a good pre-theater dinner. We were seated around 6:20, and told our server that we needed to be out by 7:35 because of our event. She responded that... More
