Best biscuits

This yummy restaurant is very pretty with great good and service. The biscuits are flaky and filling. The eggs are good but not great. The sausage was great. The bacon was good. The French toast wasn't coated in a custard egg dip but more like regular toast with raspberry glaze and although not... read more

Went for breakfast and had to ask a couple of times for items like a straw, more hot tea, ketchup, hot sauce. Ordered the Hollywood omelette, received an omelette, but it wasn't the Hollywood. It was missing spinach and had feta cheese instead of cheddar. I'm guessing the waitress, who couldn't remember to bring back items we asked for, couldn't... More

I lived in Raleigh for 5 years and this was by far my favorite Breakfast locale throughout! I LOVE this place! I am a French toast connoisseur, I eat it everywhere I go, and this place has some of the best on the planet (expert tip - ask for it with extra creme sauce). The creamy dreamy cheese grits are... We were heading to another place for breakfast, but decided to try the Flying Biscuit. And what a great decision it was. Everything was absolutely delicious- From the fluffy biscuits with apple butter to the Oatmeal pancake with peach compote. The only disappointing thing was I ordered my eggs over medium and didn't receive them that way. They were still... More

I will never return. We were told 25 minute wait. After 30, my husband was told there was still two parties before us. After another 15 minutes, 3 parties called and at least 4 parties that arrived after us being sat before us, we walked out. It was aggravating, improperly managed and unfair to my family, especially my two small... More

Interesting menu and great staff. This resturant takes the chance to try new things and provide an interesting varity and twist on the everyday southern favorites. Would recommend this resturant when you are looking for a warm friendly place to eat with good food.

Went to Flying Biscuit for first time with my wife. Went mid-morning and it was very busy. They have a nice outdoor patio in front but we opted to sit inside. We were greeted by Tracie, an excellent waitress, who started us off with two fantastic biscuits and very good coffee. My wife ordered the Starter Sampler (Pimiento Cheese Balls,... More

We stopped in at this restaurant because every place else was packed! The food was just okay and the restaurant could use some updating but it was ok for a quick meal.

I've been here several times now and never been disappointed. The biscuits with apple butter are fabulous. Friendly service. Easy to see why it's always busy. Will be back.
