We have visited this convenient Cameron Village joint off and on since it opened and have loved it less and less with each visit. The biscuits are big and (dare I say) average tasting but the apple-cranberry butter they serve with them makes them pretty awesome. The entrees are less outstanding. No real stand out entrees- but if you are... More

Great friendly staff, great atmosphere and great food. Would really recommend the fried green tomatoes! Had a really relaxed late lunch with friends, it was fairly quiet so a good time to go. Loved the way its been done out, colourful and fun!

Convenient to campus, the Flying Biscuit feels like a home-town cafe. Wait staff are sometimes harried (particularly on a marathon morning), but it is relaxed, with adequate space between tables and a variety of menu options. Friendly feeling.

We go here on a regular basis for breakfast (and lunch and dinner). If you are going for brunch or breakfast make sure to leave plenty of time to wait in line. The country eggs benedict is delicious (I suggest adding sausage). The biscuits are soft and fluffy and the cranberry spread they give you is AMAZING! The service is... More

I've eaten several times at the Flying Biscuit, most recently for lunch. The menu offers many choices including breakfast which is served all day. Everything I've had has been great. I recently tried the turkey hash with eggs and potatoes -- it was really flavorful -- and of course I got a biscuit with wonderful preserves. Sometimes the service is... More

We reconnected with a friend in town here. I wanted to show her a good Southern breakfast. We were there at 9 AM on a Saturday and had no problem being seated. I would say all of our meals were good, but honestly, I found the biscuits were disappointing and I felt that is one thing that should be top... More

We used a groupon and it was great. The oven fried chicken sandwich was one of the best I have had. The sweet potato fries were crispy and seasoned well with a ruffle cut. They even gave us a sample of the grits and they are some of the best I have ever had. We will be back for breakfast.

Friendliest wait staff I have seen in a long time. It definitely has that forced fun chain restaurant type of feel to it with hipsters everywhere. I'm not much for getting eggs at a restaurant but this place has one menu all day. I got my baked fried chicken sandwich at 9:30 am while one of my friends had a... More

Do you like good biscuits and grits? If so, this is a delightful restaurant. Breakfasts (country style - but not limited to that) available all day. Lunch and dinner menus are very good with the emphasis on biscuits, bacon/sausage, and, of course, grits! Omit the bacon/sausage and there are a lot of pescatarian and vegetarian choices. Everything is done nicely,... More
