Solid NC BBQ fare

The BBQ options were good and our meals were delicious. The fried chicken was out of this world. The biscuits are homemade and the service was very good.

My family of 5 and I were spending the day at Marbles Museum. My wife saw great reviews for this place so she got the crazy idea to walk the .6 miles on a very hot and humid day. I suggest using the free R-LINE buses that circle downtown. I didn't expect much. Based on the address and name, I... More

Reservations suggested and has valet parking which helps if you do not feel like walking. Food was very good. Beverages a bit expensive. Open and airy with lots of activitie going on. They use a three server system to ensure great service.

Had dinner here last Saturday night while in Raleigh for a concert. It was our second time here, as we came on Mother's Day weekend as well. Our group of 4 had meat loaf, two styles of ribs and various sides. Everything was awesome! A jewel in Raleigh and someplace to be shared with friends and family. Thomas, our server/busboy... More

Great bbq. Large portions, reasonably priced. You have many choices - bbq pork, chicken, beef brisket, pulled pork - all were delicious. Service was great too. You can't go wrong here.

This was featured on an episode of man vs food. When I saw this we had to come. You had to pay for parking and there was and 45min wait but it was well worth it. I got the ribs mac n cheese and greens. AMAZING!!!! At the time this was the only one located in NC. Since then they... More

We made reservations here for dinner, which was good because they were super busy. We were seated right away and the waitstaff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. My fiance and I both got sweet tea (it was awesome). We ordered fried mac and cheese as an appetizer along with biscuits and hush puppies. I ordered Carolina style ribs with fried... More

We found this place while waiting for our concert at Red Hat Amphitheater. My girlfriend found it via the gluten-free app. on her phone. I have a gluten sensitivity so I try to eat gluten free. This restaurant was a great fine. When we got there they asked us if we had reservations and we said no. I was afraid... More
