We joined a party of 10 for Thanksgiving and enjoyed ourselves. Our only complaint was we were the last to arrive, but before reservation time and were told rest of party had already gotten their plates to take to table. When we got to the table, we discovered that the rest were drinking wine and talking. Was an awkward situation... More

In a beautiful area that offers a variety of activities. A fun family atmosphere. Great for couples, groups or special events. The restaurant, brewery and wine is all a part of this family business.

Had a bit of free time. Have enjoyed Blind Squirrel brews for a few years now. Wanted to se the brewery an tasting room. Enjoyed a gorgeous ride thru beautiful country side. Note; memorize or print directions. No phone service. Fortunately I remembered directions , and was rewarded with a great experience. The cafe served a phenomenal black and blue... More

We stopped in for a bathroom break and a cold refreshment and had a delightful visit. We enjoyed a flight of four beers. The beer was tasy and our host was very knowledgeable. I bought a nice bottle of red wine. Take time to stop in here for a visit; you won't be sorry!

Love the Toe River Cafe and Blind Squirrel Brewery. I definitely recommend searching out this hidden treasure. This was our second visit. Today we brought other members of our family. We started off in the newly added bar/tasting room that was nicely done. We did a beer tasting - 3 sample flights - 12 different beers - nice varied selection... More

Tucked away in beautiful Plumtree NC, this restaurant and brewery is a real gem. We had hiked a portion of the Appalachian Trail nearby and dropped by the lodge for lunch. The menu wasnt extensive but our group raved about the quality and taste of each selection. Great sandwiches and remarkable beers! Try a tasting flight to get a sampling... More
