Yum, yum, yum!

This is an excellent place to stop and enjoy some ice cream whenever you are near Pisgah Forest. Not only are their regular flavors good but the "camp" mixtures are well worth a try! Don't limit yourself, try the mixtures!

The Dolly's at the entrance to Pisgah National Forest had a long line. On the advice of a local we went straight through the light on Highway 64 and there is another Dolly's about 1/2 mile on the right. It had no line and we quickly got our ice cream fix. There is pleasant outside seating.

I have had ice cream here several times. The variety of flavors and options is incomparable. It's pretty pricey, though that isn't a factor, judging from the long lines I see waiting their turn when I drive by (especiall summer weekends).

Hey, you're on vacation. Why not have sundaes for lunch? Three flavors of ice cream with hot fudge and nuts for only $4.50. The names of the flavors were almost as much fun as eating them. So good we debated whether stopping there again on our way out of town at 9 am was too decadent.

Always busy and super large portions. The ice creams are hit and miss, I had a couple of the camp flavours, the Rockbrook was a lot better than the other one I tried. The staff are polite but not overly friendly. Overall a fine ice cream, solid, not spectacular. Prices a little high but as stated the portions are large.

All the ice creams are named for the camps in the area. The ice cream is fresh and very tasty so which ever flavor you try you just can't go wrong. They do have the standard soft serve, icies, and milk shakes. The line is usually long and worth the wait.

We stopped here for ice cream on a recommendation and wow, it was good. The variety of flavours of ice cream, sodas and other things was unbelievable and the rocking chairs there to sit on and enjoy your purchases were great.

Dolly's is one of the best places to get ice cream, especially in/near Brevard and Pisgah! Try the camp flavors and relive your days at summer camp! Sit in a rocker and watch the lightning bugs (don't mind the pisgah traffic....) Do avoid going when any big camp bus is there-- they are usually good with the lines (coming from... More

This is one of the few remaining old time ice cream shops. The flavor combinations are all delicious. One scoop is plenty for most people. We always stop if we are in the area. I am working my way through the menu!

This is a bucket list stop for anyone going to Brevard / Pisgah National Forest. Hardly any summer camper for the last 30 years doesn't remember the day when their camp van pulled up and they first enjoyed a double cone of [insert favorite camp name flavor] ice cream. In fact, many young adults who're dropping their own kids off... More
