The food was good, but the family style servings makes it hard to make everyone happy. Recommend the proscuiotto stuffed chicken. The cheesecake was disgusting.

there was a group of us who went to this restaurant - they weren't fazed by the fluctuating size of the group. Attentive service without being intrusive. Loads of tasty food - we took away almost as much as we ate. Nice cheesecake!

Food not bad. Ambiance below average. Servings are huge--price good if you share an entree, but business model strange. "Small" entree is too big for 2 people. Better go with a large group or with 2 agree ahead of time to order same dinner.

We have always loved coming here but what happened?? We order a small salad for the three of us, one small spaghetti with meat sauce, cheese manicotti, and a veal parmigiana. We ordered the salad with the dressing on the side. 10 to 15 minutes later, she brought the salad with the dressing already on it. Then 10 minutes later... More

Eclectic and loud ,walls full of fun items ....right Down to the popes room you can dine in. The menu is varied and huge with only family style offerings....so you get a ton of food ! Not the cheapest prices but great if you have 4 or more with you. Our choices were Apple Gorgonzola salad ,antipasto, veal Marsala and broccoli... More

We were not aware that we could not each order what we wanted. Be sure you know this is advance. Meals have to be shared. That said the bruschetta was plentiful and tasty as as the caprese salad. The entree mixing four choices was hard to identify and less savory.

The restaurant is a little hard to find (they need better signage) but once you get there, the inside has great atmosphere. Lots of pictures on the walls of Italian American with lots of historical significance. Decorated kind of the way you think an old fashioned Italian restaurant should look, with checkered tablecloths. Is kind of romantic looking, although some... More

We had a wonderful dinner of salad, penne san remo, and good ol spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was delicious. On you way through the "kitchen tour" take a second to read the sign on the left hand side.....so funny! I want one for my home kitchen!

In town on business and needed a late dinner. Figured I was taking a chance on an Italian rest in NC. I was very pleased...I'm still very pleased 3 days later. Hopefully I'll have a chance to come back.
