Step back in time in Pinehurst's most expansive dining room, offering breakfast and dinner daily. Executive Chef Thierry Debailleul's amazing menu features hand-selected aged beef and signature dry seasoning rub for our steaks and chops. Menus change seasonally, invoking the fresh flavors of the area and our local farmers' picks.
The legendary breakfast buffet is known as the best in golf, and with good reason. Piano music sets the tone as you feast on made-to-order omelets, fresh fruit and Southern favorites.

The food can be good but the servers, greeters need some real training. The Resort tends to think of itself as a top flight place...go to the Washington Duke and see what first class service is like..or the Umsted Hotel. This is not first class although they price it like it is. Whoever runs this place should travel outside of... More

We had quite an entertaining staff Saturday evening. Angela was warm and played along with my quirky attitude. Wedge salad was quite good, but the highlight of the meal was the Steak Diane. Mine was cooked a virtually perfect juicy medium rare, and my associate's was a very tender and juicy medium well. I only was disappointed the steaks were... More

We stayed four nights at the Pinehurst Hotel and ate one night at the Carolina Dining Room. Even though our anniversary was the next day the waitress brought us a special dessert. Our fillets were tender and cooked to perfection. Myrna, and Linda were our waitresses and so sweet. Very attentive. Dessert was fantastic.

We attended the November Wild Game dinner, and other than a bit of a mix up about our seats, which they remedied by sitting us in an adjoining room, it was just terrific. The food, the wines, the chef explaining all the dishes, the staff... could not be better. They mentioned doing another in January but just heard they are... More

Recently attended a wild game dinner in special room in the Carolina Dinning Room. Everything about the dinner was exceptional. The special greeting, the descriptions of each entre, the special wait staff, and last but not least the food and the presentation. It was an exceptional evening.

Everything is al la carte. Food is outstanding! Accommodating chefs for those on a restricted diet. White linen tablecloths. You will need a reservation between 5:30 & 7:00 p.m. weekdays.
