Ok lunch

BBQ was pretty good... more like hash than the pulled Qu I'm accustomed to. Came with sauce already on it which I don't care for. It needs more kick for my taste and it seems odd to add more sauce. Slaw, hushpuppies and sweet tea was very good. Order and pick up food at the counter. Didn't see... read more

My family and I stopped by on our way home from vacation. We like many others were lured in by the "Aunt Bea's" name. We were surprised to find that it was more like a fast food restaurant than family friendly dining with home style food. The staff did greet us and begin to wait on us immediately but seemed... We were staying nearby in Pilot Mountain State Park and wanted a quick supper. We didn't particularly enjoy the supper food but the ice cream made up for it! There are many flavours to tempt so good luck in choosing!

This is a pretty good place to grab a burger, hot dog or BBQ sandwich. Drive through can be slow at times.

Been here twice,to say the food is average is a compliment, too many other places in town to eat so I probably would not go back.

Just a few minutes from Pilot Mtn. It's a good little lunch stop with counter service and home cooked southern food. The BBQ has a hint of tomato in the vinegar sauce and came with 6 hush puppies, fries and a slightly sweet vinegar slaw that appears to have a touch of the BBQ sauce in it. Hubby's mashed potatoes... We would give it a rating of FAIR because it fell between average and poor. Most of the staff was friendly. The food that was served on a paper plate, with plastic forks, spoons was warm. We were expecting country cooking, hotter food. It was a step up from a fastfood restaurant. We did see a lot of locals eating... More

If you want comfort food and diner fare this is a staple in Pilot Mountain, and there is another in Mount Airy.
