Good BBQ

This is a pretty good place to grab a burger, hot dog or BBQ sandwich. Drive through can be slow at times.

Been here twice,to say the food is average is a compliment, too many other places in town to eat so I probably would not go back.

Just a few minutes from Pilot Mtn. It's a good little lunch stop with counter service and home cooked southern food. The BBQ has a hint of tomato in the vinegar sauce and came with 6 hush puppies, fries and a slightly sweet vinegar slaw that appears to have a touch of the BBQ sauce in it. Hubby's mashed potatoes... We would give it a rating of FAIR because it fell between average and poor. Most of the staff was friendly. The food that was served on a paper plate, with plastic forks, spoons was warm. If you want comfort food and diner fare this is a staple in Pilot Mountain, and there is another in Mount Airy.

First let me say I have a teenager, she doesn't act like the girls in this restaurant!! Girls were snippy with my family and each other as we ordered..(who I would assume manager in charge was outside the entire time smoking in FRONT of the restaurant) we had never been there before, so didn't really know what to order. My... More

Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions to try. The place was packed. My husband loves BBQ, so that was the choice of the evening. We both had the large plate with BBQ, slaw, fries and hush puppies, we actually could have split one plate. The meat was tender and not dry, suces were good. Everyone there seemed to be... More
