Good lattes

Great gathering spot for locals and visitors, overlooking the marina. First and last stop during all my visits!

Whether you are a morning regular or just stop by when you want to indulge in the ice cream, The Bean has that friendly "hometown" feel and all with a harbor view that doesn't quit. Not to be missed when you are in the area.

This is the local coffee and gossip hotspot. The coffee is wonderful and the gossip varies in quality from day-to-day. They are open on Sunday and that's not always the case in podunk NC. Generally enough parking, too.

Bustling! Filled with locals and visitors. Beyond the big chains - The menu included any coffee or tea related drink you could want. Baked goods were fresh and tasty. One customer even got a hug! Lots of inside tables all taken. Nice porch for watching the marina and soaking in the sunshine.

Visit here at least once every time we are in town...kids always love a scoop of ice cream and we love the coffee...great place to gather on the front porch and watch the activity across the street...meet and greet the others in town for the weekend or locals who have stopped by...a tradition not to be missed!

We had the latte and a caramel latte, and a banana muffin. The lattes were good, not overly sweet. The muffin (not sure whether store bought or homemade) was average, could have used some pecans. A nice place to have coffee, where everyone knows each other.

We visit The Bean quite often and our kids love it there. The morning crowd is a chatty, older crowd. Afternoons are generally quiet. The view from the porch over the town dock and harbor are just lovely. They have good coffee, a wide variety of cold and hot drinks, great smoothies and chocolate drinks, baked goods, and wonderful MASSIVE... More

They also have ice cream, cookies, etc. Don't be in a hurry. It's very busy in the morning and only one person on duty
