Tea lover, beautiful view from out on the deck. Awesome scones.

Love the biking. So sit back....You will ride your bike more than your car. People are so friendly. They are always saying hi. So warm.

Went back to see if things have changed, they haven't. Still mediocre coffee and frozen bagels. So many "furiners" I thought I was in Brooklyn or Jersey. Want to hang with the locales? Go to M&M's or the Tiki Bar around 5:00. You can even get good food. Those that know can't figure out why The Bean is #2

You can always tell the quality of a good restaurant by the quality of their espresso. The Bean has an excellent shot (or two if you dare)! Clean bean prep is a must for this to be true! Staff is very friendly and all extras are wonderful! Scones are top notch! I only wish I would have known that a... More

I loved this little coffee shop and reveled in sipping on my beverage watching the ships come and go in the marina across the street.

Got a large iced coffee with a caramel shot. Coffee was strong which I like and the ice was frozen coffee cubes. Great idea! Kept the same great taste the whole time no watered down taste from melting ice! A must stop if you are around these parts.

The Bean in Oriental is a local landmark. It's THE place by the town dock where everyone meets, greets, eats, and hangs out. It's cute, rather small, and the food is pretty good. They're known for good coffee, excellent smoothies and shakes, good and generous ice cream cones, and just being plain friendly, helpful people. Sitting on their porch watching... More

Whatever the need, coffee, bagels, muffins, toast, tea, ice cream, good company, a quiet place to do wifi or just watch the boats come in, the Bean serves it up well. This IS THE PLACE!

Great coffee and tasty muffins. Lots of folks hanging around and conversing in the morning, so it really had a local feel to it. Great place to start your day in Oriental!
