Some of the best food on Ocracoke, including a nice lemon pasta. Sadly, it's closed so you can't get it any more.

We visit Ocracoke Island every year and always enjoyed dining at Cafe Atlantic. I'm sorry to say it has closed (I believe the owners retired). I guess we'll need to find a new favorite restaurant on the island.

My family recently visited Ocracoke, NC, we very much wanted to dine on fresh seafood as we are from Colorado and don't get the opportunity for fresh seafood. Our expectations were met at Cafe Atlantic. My brother and I both had the broiled combo platter and it was excellent! The Clams and the huge scallops were cooked to perfection and... More

We learned the couple who have run Cafe Atlantic are soon going to retire which is sad because I am sure we would be return customers in the years ahead. We had a short wait but the red drum we chose was excellent and the flavorful green beans were a surprise. Our wine was good and the desserts were great.... More

We loved our meals here, great service, good beer choices and the prices were good. We both had fresh seafood dishes, they were delicious!

My wife and I visit Ocracoke every fall and always eat at the Cafe Atlantic. This year we discovered the "senior/children" menu, and since we've qualified in this category for some time now, decided to try it. The menu has smaller portions of some of the same items on the regular menu--just right for anyone who doesn't need a loaded-down... More

This has the best seafood we had on our visit to Ocracoke. Unfortunately it is up for sale as the owners are retiring. Check befor you go to see if it is still in operation. The seafood preparation was just rigth not over or under cooked and seasoned perfectly. The scallops were some of the best we have ever had.... More

This restaurant came recommended to us, and we were told it was closing soon. We were seated downstairs at an extremely small table for 2 and far too close to the large party beside us. I mean so close you are unable to talk or hear yourself and the server barely can serve. That kind of close. They were not... More

We come to Ocracoke every year, and every year we hear mixed reviews about this place. On the ferry ride over, we met a nice couple who said this was one of their favorite restaurants. They said the owner is selling the business, so we should try before it closes. We decided to give it a try. The hostess was... More
