Love the Hush Puppies

Fun decorations. Love there hush puppies, just wish more came in the basket. Seafood was good. My daughter and I neither one cared for the tarter sauce, had a strong mustard flavor but just a matter of taste and region. Everyone always wants to eat here when we're on Ocracoke

Usually these days it is just to check out the t shirts. Raw oysters and beer are reliable. They need to narrow the menu and focus on quality. Still a great place for a beer.

We went here as part of a tour and let me tell you, they had the best scallops I have EVER had!! I wouldn't have ever been able to eat here if we had not taken the Hatteras tour. Hope to make it back again one day.

This restaurant has been in Ocracoke for like ever. I am not saying that the food isn't good there but I think it used to be better and had a bigger selection. They are famous for the selection of tee shirts!

I never miss going to Howard's when I am in the OBX. If I stay in Hatteras, I make a trip on the ferry just to have lunch. I love the laid back atmosphere and the food is good, too!

Great place to get the feel of island time and what it means. Fun place with good food and cold adult beverages.

We visited the restaurant based on review and it was awesome! Easy to locate and lots of seating as well. Wheelchair accessible also.

Love the decorations and the history of the restaurant. Food was ok, not great! Will try again in the future.

We stopped here following a recommendation from a local. It is worthy of consideration. Very laid back and very busy. We enjoyed a lunch meal of fish and shrimp sandwiches. All very tasty.

Good atmosphere but the food was not good and overpriced. The burger was very greasy and unsettling on the stomach. Used to be a great place, but I will make a different choice next time.
