Food continues to be average, used to be the go to place, now its a commercial establishment that doesnt excel at anything but atmosphere and souvenirs. OK sandies, reasonabel fish, good for kids, you can do better, much better.

Had the best evening eating Raw Bar, had three plates of it, the environment was great and the staff was friendly. An amazing place to be at, this was my third time this year. Every time it gets to feel more like a home. Great prices and Great Food. A MUST DO WHILE ON OCRACOKE

Just dropped in for dinner on the way down the outer banks. Good range of beer and wine, nice staff. Food fairly standard fare but well prepared and resaonably priced.

This was my second trip to Ocracoke and my second visit to Howard's. The atmosphere is great and so is the food. You can't go wrong here, but I suggest getting there during the "season" to get a larger selection.

On our 2-week motorcycle trip from CT to GA, we decided to tour the Outer Banks on our way back North. The weather in GA had been 90 degrees and sunny, but now it was raining and cold – Hello October. The ferry to Ocracoke Islands (OTB) was a pleasant reprieve but it was still raining when we reached the... More

Someone gave us the advice to eat or drink at Howard's Pub. So we did. The pub has a great atmosphere! We decided to have drink, but since we were both driving it was an alcohol free German beer. Since it was only 4.45 pm we ordered some small dishes: garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. Very tasty and fresh. We... More

Despite some rumors, Howards Pub is not dead yet. We stopped by one late Saturday afternoon and were treated very well. We had an appetizer of steamed oysters and shrimp, and two crab leg clusters. It was all very good. Howard's a great place to watch a game and have a few drinks. It's a bar foremost, that serves some... More

Stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat and ordered the Conch Fritters. They were so good when we got done with our appointment we went back and some more to take back to Hatteras Village. Great atmosphere and very reasonable prices.

To get there from Buxton was a little bit of a hassle. On Ocracoke Island we ate at Howards Pub. Very good food and service. Nice atmosphere.

We went to Howard's Pub because a friend had told us it was his favorite restaurant on the island...I can see why now. The food was great...some of the best fries I have ever had! Everyone was waited on and we had lots of atmosphere to check out. A great selection on the menu and no one had a problem... More
