Just passing through.

Nothing remarkable. Pleasant enough service, as one would expect if a business wants to survive. Simple, basic burgers, seafood, fries, beer, etc. Eat and you will not be hungry. We were just about the only ones in here; service was good, food was perfectly edible, we didn't get sick, but we... read more

Though most of the time, the oysters are not local-- the afternoon special is noteworthy. This restaurant has changed ownership several times, but the service and quality seem to remain the same.

My wife and I went for supper on the last night of our honeymoon stay. She got fried flounder, which was good. I got a dozen oysters steamed medium and they were like eating rubber. They weren't over cooked, just chewy. Service was decent. I will not go back and don't recommend.

They have now changed the name to Ocracoke Oyster Company, went in for lunch at 2P.M. atmosphere was plain but kind of cool, waited quite awhile for a server to come see us considering there was only a few other tables with patrons, ordered our food and drinks, thought it was a long time to get our drinks but that... we walked here from the closeby rv park. thought the name was catchy. I had 1/2 doz oysters on the half shell. these were smaller than the ones I had last year on the florida pan handle but were good. my wife had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. both were good. I had the fish reuben. fantastic. waitress was... More

Really good casual restaurant on the island. They have local music on Friday and Saturday nights which is great. The food is good and the service is great. Just like most of the other restaurants on the island...be prepared for rustic surroundings and few bells and whistles. That's what most of us come here for...honest, genuine experiences. Nothing fake or... More

One of the cleanest and relaxing welcome atmospheres with great service from Jason and the rest of the crew. The owners are the nicest and love hearing your adventure stories and just make it warm and cozy to be there. Your not just a customer to them. I and you will absolutely love this place. Kenny

We ate here twice during our stay, which is something we rarely do. Everything we had was fantastic. I highly recommend the Tuna. It is more of a Bar atmosphere but very comfortable and friendly.

We happened to go here on Halloween night. They had a band that was very good. We ate at the bar. My wife was not very hungry and just got chicken tenders. I got something..... tacos? I can't remember... it was that unremarkable. It was rather distracting trying to eat while a drunk woman continuously complained that the place was... More

This review is limited to the oyster special, a dozen for $7.00. While they were little, they were tasty. A good guitar/singer made for a nice afternoon on the porch. I would prefer to rate at 3.5 stars.
