Tasty Lunch on the Dock

sMacNally's seemed the obvious place to stop for lunch down in Ocracoke's harbour front. Busy place for lunch and seating outdoors facing the charter fishing boats. The grilled fish platter was fantastic. One of the local fish staples the Red Drum fillet was delicious along with curly fries and one... read more

So glad we ate here. It was neat sitting on the dock & enjoying the beautiful weather. The burgers really were the best. I got the green head with pesto. Yum. There were no complaints. Service was fast & friendly. We'd definitely go back.

My mother who is wait staff at smacks brought me home a cowboy burger ( served rare) and some signature smacks curly fries after work the other day. Mind you it was the first time in a year I had one of these delicious burgers. At the very first bite I was overcome with an overall sense of happiness. That's... More

We visited Ocracoke for the day during a Hatteras Island Thanksgiving weekend stay. We have been to sMacNally's several times and were happy that it was still open this late in the season. The burgers and fries were great, but it was the staff that made lunch perfect. We had great a conversation with the manager, who shared interesting insights... More

Wow! It's a tiki bar atmosphere right on the docks, but the food is out of this world. It's a great place for lunch. Fresh caught fish of the day is the best! It was the best meal we had on Ocracoke. We will definitely return when back again.

Almost everyone we spoke with on our trip to Ocracoke recommended sMac Nally's. They said the burgers were great! A burger is a burger, right? No! The burger I got (Rampage - with jalapenos and cheddar) was very juicy and quite tasty. It really was the best burger I had while on the island. My wife had the Greenhouse burger,... More

My wife and I got married on Ocracoke, and had our reception at SmacNally's. It was by far the best place on the island. The staff is super friendly, and the food is always fresh. We went charter fishing twice while there, and Smac's cleaned and prepared our catch. We lived in this resturant thoughout our entire stay.

This outdoor spot has a patio full of tables and umbrellas. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and super friendly staff. Quick service and good food. We will definitely be back!

I spent a long weekend on the island and about half of that time at sMacNally's. They were so accommodating. We would have long lunches and dinners with people coming and going, pushing tables around, and the staff never missed a beat. Always went above and beyond with the food and the drink to make sure we were well taken... More

The best thing here- the view. It is right on the bay, and right in the center of the village. We visited twice, during happy hour. Liked the mimosa specials. Great idea for a good tasting drink. Tried the special wings, with old bay dry rub- great. Sat at the boat bar and listened to the locals. We were here... More
