Fishcakes!

We rode past on our bikes, and saw the sign for fresh Ocracoke fish cakes out front. We got the grilled cakes, and they were spectacular. Forget crab cakes, these were really good. Nice staff, too. Down home kind of place.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here and our waitress was much nicer than most other places we went on the island. The ambiance leaves something to be desired but it was cool and clean. We'd definitely go back!

There was nothing special about this place. For a small outer banks island, I wouldn't say the prices were too terrible. My salad had that chemical flavor, as if the bagged lettuce hadn't been washed, but we had good service and there were no complaints from any of us about the rest of the food.

Hits the spot. Pizza is pretty good and the restaurant has a fun family atmosphere. One of the most modestly priced places on Ocracoke.

This is a great island restaurant. The pizza is great, the seafood is wonderful and watch for Sushi night every Tuesday during the season. We also love the Ocracoke fish cakes and when they have collards, you must try them. Their deserts are also wonderful. It is casual dining, but the food is great and the wait staff is wonderful.

Service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. My family all got subs to take out and the food was mediocre.

Good, freshly made food. We have had the spaghetti, bar-b-que , pizza and chicken. Everyone was happy with their choices.

The food is very good here. Very fresh. We had some fresh blue fish. It was delicious. If you want some great fresh local fish go here.

The service was great. It is a small place that easily fills so you can see their desire to keep tables turning over quickly. Sandwiches and desserts were great; pizza and pasta just so-so.

Jason's has a daily fish sandwich special--bluefish on the night we were there. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. The meatball sandwich was another highlight, and the pizza was excellent. We were hungry when we got off the ferry, so we picked Jason's without knowing what to expect. We'd go back for sure.
