My husband and I love to stop in and get cold salads and crackers for the beach instead of taking sandwiches. They will pack you up with plastic utensils and napkins so all you have to do is throw it in the cooler and go. Lots of sweets are available too.

Really enjoyed stopping in...the teens with us spent an hour trying to decide on candy purchases from the large and varied selections! The ice creams, pastries, and sandwiches were mouthwatering, and the staff were very friendly!

The Wine Queen and I stopped by after having lunch at Gaffer's down the street! I wanted ice cream and she is not about to object to that! I ordered a double dip of the pralines and cream. A single dip was $2.95. A double was only $1.00 more. She ordered a double of death by chocolate ... only because... More

Like I have read and know I wasn't imagining, rudeness prevailed. My husband and I have been rather taken back by a lot of local rudeness! The young girl that waited on us never smiled nor said but 2 words to us. Our purchase was 2 small pieces of cheesecake coming to 10 something, she forced out have a nice... More

We got take out sandwiches for the beach as well as the ferry ride home. They were tasty, everything was fresh and held up really well in the cooler. The owner took our order and was very pleasant to chat with while waiting. It can take a little time to get your order, especially if they are busy, so plan... More

We stopped in en route from the beach and were delighted by the fudge (free samples) and ice cream. We meant to try their sandwiches but ran out of time with everything else we had planned. Very friendly staff and we met the owner who was not only on site but actively working. This is a fantastic place and I... More

This is one of our favorite lunch stops. I always came away feeling like I had eaten something healthy (before I hit their sweet selection) and that was also very tasty. The place is always clean, the staff friendly and you can eat outside. What's not to like?

As other reviewers have stated, the staff is EXTREMELY rude. I began the conversation with "my child has a nut allergy." Before I could finish my sentence the owner rolled her eyes, looked at us like "and what do you want me to do about it," and huffed through the rest of the conversation. The other employee interrupted my conversation... More

Stopping here is a must during our yearly visit to Ocracoke. The fudge selection is awesome and I've yet to taste a flavor I don't like. This year we also tried the gigantic chocolate cake sold by the slice. It is to die for. I also bought a very nice loaf of fresh sourdough bread. Prices are extremely reasonable and... More

Typical candy store, with lots of options. The bakery and sandwiches are excellent. We picked up lunch to take on the ferry with us. Top notch pimento.
