This is the best lunch food on the island. Call ahead for pick up before heading out to the beach. Sandwiches are well priced and huge so be prepared to split. Deviled eggs, salads and desserts are delicious.

They had breakfast sandwiches and bagels and my latte and not expensive!! I was happy with my breakfast- it was simple and quick. The place wasn't crowded and they had outside seating.

Happily, a vegetarian wrap option that wasn't grilled vegetables and hummus (which I enjoy, but eat a lot on vacation!). I had a sweet potato - black bean wrap that was very tasty. My husband and son shared a turkey wrap, and my son had a big hunk of delicious fudge. This place was recommended by another shop owner, I... More

We visited for breakfast and also ordered sandwiches to take with us on the Cedar Island Ferry. Of course, we also needed dessert. The food was delicious and the portions generous. The desserts are fabulous! We're looking forward to a return visit.

I love the soft serve waffle cones here. Keep thinking I will go down there for breakfast or lunch but get busy. We often rent a house and cook there. Lots of yummy fudge and candy. Awesome selection. They have some really healthy foods too. Small but don't overlook this cool place.

We try to visit here each year. This year I had three different truffles and they were delicious. The rest of the family had ice cream and we all were very happy with our choices. The fudge is great too. There are lots of choices in each category. Very nice, clean shop with good service.

Every summer, when our family leaves Ocracoke, heading back to the mainland, we stop at the Fig Tree and have a box of sandwiches prepared & assorted desserts, (try the fig cake) and picnic on the Swan Quarter Ferry, the end of a perfect vacation.

My husband and I love to stop in and get cold salads and crackers for the beach instead of taking sandwiches. They will pack you up with plastic utensils and napkins so all you have to do is throw it in the cooler and go. Lots of sweets are available too.

Really enjoyed stopping in...the teens with us spent an hour trying to decide on candy purchases from the large and varied selections! The ice creams, pastries, and sandwiches were mouthwatering, and the staff were very friendly!

The Wine Queen and I stopped by after having lunch at Gaffer's down the street! I wanted ice cream and she is not about to object to that! I ordered a double dip of the pralines and cream. A single dip was $2.95. A double was only $1.00 more. She ordered a double of death by chocolate ... only because... More
