Looking for a place on the island and gave Beana's a try. Staff was very friendly, but food and coffee was average. The very loud waitress was on duty.

We had the best breakfast. Pancakes are wonderful. The staff treated us like we were family. My kid was really hungry when we walked in. They got him what they called an emergency pancake. Made his day and kept him happy. We ended eating every breakfast there. We will be back next time we visit Oak island.

Teen staff which was slow and unorganized. Seemed irritated I asked for runny eggs when I was given completely cooked through fried eggs (I asked for runny). Hash browns were likely out of a freezer bag from Kroger- not made there... Nothing special at all and I had to get up from my table to ask for more drink. I... More

We waiting for our food for what seemed like forever only to be served watery grits, fatty, salty bacon and scrambled eggs that were greasy and brown from being cooked with the bacon and sausage I guess. This place use to have good breakfast but not anymore. Will not be back and do not suggest anyone else go there either.... More

We are across the street from this restaurant so its a easy walk to. The first day we ate there it was OK and the waitress was a trade rude however we ate there again and it was great food but extremely slow. We waited almost 45 min for simple breakfast food .

We ate here for breakfast while on vacation. They had the standard eggs, pancakes, french toast and omelets on the menu. I ordered a medium fry, which consisted on 1 egg, 2 pancakes, meat and bread. Price was around $5.00. The pancakes were to die for! Staff was very friendly. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. **Cash only.... More

I don't know if we caught it on an off-day or what, but the service we had was not great. They were pretty busy and understaffed, but I think it's possible to be polite and busy at the same time. Our waitress was gruff and not friendly. When we asked for more creamer for the coffee, she came by and... More

This little restaurant is a treasure!!! Great food and wonderful service!! This has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat. Only open for breakfast and lunch but that's ok because what they do have is really, really good!

Every time my husband and I go to Oak Island (normally 3 times a year) we eat breakfast here. The food is great, like a grandma home-cooked meal. The price is always good, and there is always a huge portion that I never can finish. I have never been anything but completely satisfied!

Every time I visit Oak Island, I have to eat breakfast at Beana's Kitchen. The waitresses are always friendly and there is not too long of a wait to get your food. There are times when you go on the weekend in the morning hours and you have to be put on a waiting list. Even then, the wait is... More
