I had no idea where to eat on Oak Island, and it was pouring, so I went where there were cars. I ordered lemon pepper scallops. I was suspicious of the very uniformly shaped discs that looked as though they were formed with a punch-press. They tasted much fishier than any other scallops I have ever had, and the lemon... I choose this restaurant thinking it would be decent because it was of the few restaurants on Oak Island with cars in the parking lot. I ordered the grilled lemon pepper fish and it was so gross I threw the whole thing I the trash. It was soggy and swimming in some type of greasy yellow sauce. I ordered a... More

Went here for breakfast because my favorite place had lines out the door, We were seated near the kitchen entrance and wait station, even though the restaurant was not crowded, so we were privy to all the latest gossip and goings on, thanks to the servers. The food was average, the service was average, the decor is a mish-mash of... More

We had the fried seafood for dinner last night, it was just ok. Cole slaw was served in a throw away container. This place has been decorated with used non matching booths worn out curtains. The food is not cheap so why don't they improve the way the restaurant looks? Won't eat here again.

I eat here most times that I visit Oak Island. They say best fish on oak Island and it would be hard for me to disagree. Hushpuppies are pretty weak but the fish make up for that.

Can't help you with anything else other than it is the best breakfast on the island that I've found. Never had any other meals there.

We had anticipated eating elsewhere, when my wife and I happened across this little spot. The menu is very reasonable, and the food smelled good! We had to get on a wait list for about 15 minutes but if people are waiting, then the food must be good! We seated relatively quickly, the owner even apologized for the short wait... More

I was craving clam strips for lunch in September, and on Oak Island, this is a hard thing to find. Lots of restaurants stop serving lunch after Labor Day, so finding clam strips was a big task. I read some negative reviews about this little local place online, but we had a great experience. The clam strips were delicious (not... More

Horrible service! Took forever for our waitress to greet us and take our order. Then it took about 25 minutes to cook a 1/4 lb burger. When I asked if our food would be ready soon (I had seen people who ordered after us getting their food) the waitress got snippy with me. As she gave us the check she... More
