This place is extreme! Treat them with respect and they'll give you loads more back and remember you after only eating there once. You can be the juiciest tastiest peach in the world but there will always be people that don't like peaches! From the homemade pies to the fresh fish and mouth watering breakfast. My heart will always belong... More

This beautiful historic rock house is a great place to have a meal that doesn't break the bank. We got breakfast. It was good although I think there was a yankee doing the cooking. The grits were definitely not cooked by a true Southerner! The homemade jelly was fabulous. We had plenty to eat and enjoyed it. The owner was... More

Louise's is about the only choice after the BBQ place across the street closes for the season. Your experience will vary. I've been there when the crowds overwhelm the servers and kitchen and the food isn't so great that I'm willing to wait very long for it. This last visit, service was very quick and food was fine for the... More

In Linville, NC situated in 3 different counties. The best breakfast around. Staff was pleasant though incredibly busy. Clean and great location. I AM going back.

I have enjoyed pie and ice cream in the past at Famous Louise's Rock House, so I thought I would be safe in ordering one of their daily specials, which in this case was a stuffed cabbage roll with a side of carrots and another of mixed greens. I heard the microwave in heavy use but it didn't run longer... More

We were on the third day driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway and it was late lunch time on a Sunday so time to eat. We pulled off the road around Linville Falls and found Louise's place. It was quite crowded, probably with lots of people after a late church service. It was attractive enough, the servers were helpful, and... More

Cheap breakfast, not very tasty either. The place was packed, but it didn't appear that there were many selections in the area.

I have breakfast here a couple of times every two years when visiting the area. The food is good and the homemade jams great. Nice atmosphere in a beautiful and picturesque area.

Louise's has been around for a very long time. Got to love how the place is built from the mountain rocks with very nice Art Work for sale from scenery in the vicinity. Great place for anytime of the day meals. Can't count the times I've ate here but, I have family that live in North Cove.
