For a small town restaurant, AWESOME food!

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at the Chelsea. For starters, we had the "Bleu Chip Dip" - it was amazing. For dinner, we had the "Candied Bacon Ribeye" with Mac & Cheese - out of this world. And, ended the evening with their Millionaire's after dinner coffee. The prices were very... read more

We ate dinner on June 12th with another couple and the meal was great. We had the Sesame Seared Tuna as an appetizer and it was delicious. The pickled cucumber and ginger and the tuna with the wasabi sauce were a perfect blend of flavors. I had the Shrimp and Crab Fresca which was very good and an ample portion... More

My favorite place for lunch in New Bern. The crab soup is delicious and I had a salad with chicken and pita wedges, it was so good, and huge! We have small children and they were very accomodating to our needs. The owners are very nice as well. Definitely recommend.

We went here for a surprise birthday party. The atmosphere is great! Love the old buildings that are used for restaurants. The food was ok. The server was a bit overwhelmed with a part of 14. Took a while for the food to come out but overall will visit again.

Love this place! The food is always exceptional as well as the restaurant staff. They have daily specials for lunch, specialty drinks, and much more. Can't tell you about desserts because I'm so full after the meal that I don't have room for dessert!

Nice place. Great food. Great location. Good service. Went early on two separate occasions because we heard that it gets busy. They are correct. By the time we finished people were waiting. Wasn't as bad on Tuesday but Friday was very busy. There is a reason why this is and I feel it is worth waiting a little while. The... More

The food is good, but be prepared for very slow service. We have eaten here several years in a row with a large group of friends the night before Seafarer/Seagull drop off. As long as you and your kids can tolerate a long leisurely dinner, the food is probably some of the best in town (1 of 3 good restaurants)

We went to this restaurant on the advice of a volunteer at Bank Art and were pleased to have a delightful meal in the historic area. The crab cakes were exceptional; the salad fresh and our waitress pleasant and knowledgable. Prices fair and libation selection quite good! Definitely recommend!

Great food and service. The shrimp and grits appetizer was fantastic. The vegetable risotto was seasoned perfectly with all fresh veggies.
