My husband and I have eaten here several times. We had fried oysters which were quite tasty and served in the most generous portions I have ever seen. Prices were very reasonable. We look forward to returning there this year while visiting New Bern. more

My husband and I decided to try Flounders one night when we wanted seafood. This was not a good choice, the food was horrible! All the seafood was fried, greasy, and cold. I suspect it was "fresh" frozen seafood. I would rather go to Andy's and get a shrimp burger (fried shrimp on a bun with cole slaw)! more

My wife ordered "Jumbo" Shrimp" from the menu and received what we would call baby shrimp. She said that they were watery and tasteless. I had baby backed ribs that were just okay. I've eaten at Flounders several times, and I've been more than satisfied each time. Friendly staff, food is fresh and served promptly, and prices are reasonable. I especially like the flounder "burger" platter - a great sandwich for lunch or dinner. more

The seafood was incredibly greasy and it took forever for them to prepare it. I can understand if the restaurant is busy, but the place was half-empty. How long can it take to drop some seafood into a deep fryer? I'd rather head down to Moore's Barbecue for an oyster plate. more
