Great ice cream and not pricey but the girl behind the counter I'd have to say was not the brightest bulb in the box asked for sugar cone instead if saying we don't have those she put it in a regular cone when we asked her about it she looked dazed and confused really do u know the difference?

Every time I go into the Cow Cafe, I get excited about the homemade ice cream flavors. It is absolutely delicious and for those of you don't like places that employ high school students, don't worry about that here. The teenagers that work here are quick and efficient and very friendly. Be sure to tip them because the super tasty... More

Stopped in with the family for ice cream and ended up waiting in line for 30 minutes. Unreal. Staff behind the counter was moving at a snails pace and didn't bother to let anyone know that there were actually 2 lines. Horrible customer service and will certainly not be returning to the "Boo" Cafe.

Very cute place to visit. Located in the heart of New Bern, NC historic district. After walking around and visiting the shops, it's a great little place to sit in and get refreshed with some yummy ice cream. Who doesn't like ice cream.

Lots of flavors of ice cream or frozen yogurt. Cute decor and a small play area in back for children. Gift shop with lots of cow stuffed animals etc.

This non-chain is a real gem for a mealor ice cream with kids. We were regulars with our grandchildren 2007 - 2010 when their family was stationed at Cherry Point. They just moved back and Cow Cafe was our first meal out. They didn't disappoint. The range of hot sandwiches from Greek to Cubans appeals to adult tastes, while the... More

LOVED this place. It's adorable, the staff are friendly and will give you samples of any ice cream, and prices are reasonable. Love that they make all of their own ice cream and they have a huge variety of flavors. The butter pecan was delicious!

Our 3 year old is nicknamed "Moo Moo" and she adores cows so anytime we find ourselves in New Bern we love to stop in the Cow Cafe! The ice cream is really good, a tad pricey in my opinion but what ice cream shop isn't, the decor is adorable, the staff is always friendly, and our daughter loves the... More

Ice cream was good, but a little too soft. All flavors were home made. But from the time you order till the time you get you ice crem it took about 10-15 mins. Way to long. Floors were a bit dirty and too few tables.
