The food here is very tasty and fresh, the service is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The baked goods are excellent, and most are made on site. The smells are wonderful when you walk in the door. The sandwiches and salads are generous, and on very good breads. Comfortable... read more

Found this restaurant in the New Bern Guide and then on Trip advisor. Th he food was plentiful but I found the classic grilled cheese sandwich bland for my taste. The sandwich was very buttery on one side and just plain on the other which was a bit disconcerting. My companion had a turkey club that was satisfactory. The atmosphere... More

Stopped here for takeout. This is a cozy, little cafe with small tables for 2-4 people. There are yummy, delicious smells of baked goods wafting from the kitchen. If we didn't have to get back on the road, would have enjoyed lingering here over lunch. They have a nice display case of their featured baked goods of the day, like... More

So, they're located in a small strip shopping center, nowhere close to the charming waterfront or downtown. Never mind that! Wonderful breakfast!!! Sea Glass Eggs Benedict...outstanding, and perfectly cooked eggs! The cranberry pecan French Toast - delicious! Obviously they are doing something right because the place was packed. We made a reservation for 9:30. Thought we were pretty silly doing... More

This little gem in not right in the downtown area, but is very accessible at only about 5 minute drive away. I have eaten there for breakfast and for lunch and both were scrumptious! The food is freshly prepared and tastes incredible! They have a coffee bar that I love...you can make your own concoction from a variety of wonderful... More

Wife and I ate there for lunch on a Saturday. Both breakfast and lunch was available and many specials were including on the large board. Wife got eggs benedict and I had the crabcake sandwich which was very well prepared and included a nice sauce to go with it. Coffee was also good and strong. $9.50 for a crabcake sandwich... More
