A waitress or waiter can make or break your dining experience and it broke it all to pieces. Everything from our waitress to our food was terrible. Our waitress was extremely rude to everyone in my group and got must of our orders wrong and that is not acceptable. I wonder why you guys have a high rating cause it... More

Overcooked shrimp. Plate removed before meal finished. No flavor in meal. Rude waitress. Took forever to get out. Beautiful views do not cover this type of service.

Wonderful dinner here tonight. Best she crab soup. Very good meal. Pleasant, attentive staff that are well educated in the menu. Fresh local seafood, beef, and veggies all from the local area. Ask for Hannah (waitress) for a great experience.

The cream of crab soup was amazing as well as the views from the deck! The food and service were average. Long waits but you can grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the views.

With 3 generations, 22 people and a wide variety of tastes in food & drinks, our large group names Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe as our "Go To" restaurant! For years we've been enjoying their delicious meals, their quality service and their ability to seat all 22 of us at one time. You can spot their fresh herb garden on site,... More

We were a party of 12 and every dish came out perfect! The seafood was fresh and caught by local fisherman. Delicious!

Local, freshly caught seafood, locally grown vegetables, and a knowledgeable, efficient wait staff. An excellent menu and wine choices. My favorite place to dine in this area.

Ate here with a party of 11, of which 5 were kids. We were seated promptly. Everyone agreed that their food was very good. From seafood to steak. Our waiter Taylor was awesome. Our drinks never got less than half full before he was refilling them. If you are in the area, I recommend you go eat here!

We always love sitting by the window and watching the osprey family. The cornbread is to die for, just delicious. The adults loved their meals. The kids were less enthusiastic, but you never know with teenagers. Our waitress was a little slow coming to our table after we were seated, but that is not the norm. We go here every... More

I always try to stop here when I come to the Outer Banks. This is a locally owned restaurant that preps all their food from scratch, and buys there food from local fisherman and farmers. Overlooks the sound and the staff is very attentive. I usually come for the crab-cakes. No filler in these babies, just fresh lump crab meat,... More
