We selected Basnight's mostly for the view and because other's recommended this restaurant. There is plenty of parking and we had no wait. The place is huge in the inside and I would assume in season it could be crowded. We were seated at the window viewing the osprey nest but the bird wasn't there at the time. The waiter... More

The restaurant is a good size and has great service. The She-Crab soup is delicious! The restaurant is on the water, so you can choose to have water views while eating.

Bassnight's menu lists the name of the local fisherman who brought in your catch. Even the source of the local green tomatoes is listed on the menu. If you want to support locally sourced food, be sure to patronize Bassnight's (family owned for many, many years). Locally sourced = fresh, but preparation could still ruin an entree. Not at Bassnight's... More

We went here to celebrate our anniversary while in the Outer Banks. It was okay. Nothing special. Food was pretty standard as was the menu. Prices were higher. Unfortunately, nothing but the service was outstanding. The service was excellent. We both had seafood which was fresh but again, not outstanding compared to other meals we had while visiting the Outer... More

After reading the reviews here I had thought this would be an outstanding dinner experience. It was good, not great. We were not able to get a table when we arrived and sat at the bar for awhile. The bartender there was very helpful in finding us a craft beer we would enjoy. When we got to our table we... More

We visit the Lone Cedar Grill when visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We started with cocktails with appetizers fried green tomatoes with goat cheese and pepper jelly for my wife and she crab soup for me. I had the shrimp tacos while my wife had the petit filet with shrimp. The tacos came with refrigerated rice and olives... More

We ate here twice during out trip and both times were great. Sunday brunch came with a ton of food. Their sweet potato casserole is wonderful. Stuffed French toast with fresh fruit was also great. Another night for dinner I ordered the fried shrimp and my plate was overflowing with shrimp. There's a lot of seating so we never had... More

Visited Lone Star Cedar Cafe based on the recommendation of our hotel staff and we were not disappointed. In fact, it was the best seafood I ever ate. The service was excellent too!

Looking for a great night out to watch a game, a date night, or just catch up with friends... Then try Lone Cedar. I love grabbing an appetizer like my favorite- the Crab Dip, and something from the extensive Wine List. Riley, Joe & the other Bartenders always take good care of their customers. Throughout the summer season there's usually... More

This was another first, great view, great food. The waitress was amazing. The shrimp I had was fresh and local from Wanchese. My husband had the seafood platter and loved it, our daughter had the flounder from Wanchese. Everything was great. Will be back
