We have gone to most of the Mexican restaurants in the area over the years and just tried La Fogata (take out). The selection is great and typical of a tex-mex place - lots of options and combinations. Thought the quality was great - we loved the enchiladas, the tacos with shells that seemed like they were made on premises,... More

Not as pretentious as the other Mexican restaurant on the Bypass, but the food is well prepared and represents a very good value. Service is very good and I have never been disappointed in the quality or taste of the entree's I have ordered. I cannot say the same thing for the other Mexican restaurant in the area. When friends... More

With the number of Spanish speakers increasing in the area, I expected better. First, the management of the restaurant needs to spend some money on maintenance. Dirty looking tile ceiling with multiple dysfunctional fans and light fixtures. We figured with poor light you couldn't see the ceiling as well. Rest of the decor is OK for a Mexican joint. I... Had a delicious dinner with the coldest of coronas! My dining partner had a wonderful dish -- Burrito Jalisco, tender beef with savory sauce. I always go for chicken mole if on the menu and this did not disappoint AND they had too varieties. Of course I went with that with more chocolate in the sauce. Very good. Only suggestion... More

This place was very good. Authentic food and great service. I didn't care for the veggies in my rice but other than that it was awesome. Went twice the week I was visiting.

We show up at 6:30 PM and there's no one at the hostess desk, or any where around the front area. I had to go look for someone to seat us. All the waiters where sitting in a back room as far away as the front door as they could get. Some girl seats us but never brings a menu... More

For authentic Mexican, this is your place. And if you like Margaritas, they make some pretty awesome ones! Chips and salsa are fresh and addictive. Always want to try their desserts, but never have room when I finish a meal.
