We had seen it on DDD and were expecting a great meal but it was nothing to be excited about. The server seemed to rush us too much and seemed to ignore my wifes concerns about spicy food as he told her something wasn't and it was. Her Coco Chicken was very bland as were the black beans, canned ones... More

The food was adequate vacation food; the place is highly rated, and therefore very busy. Overall, the food is adequate -- nothing to rave about, but certainly not something I'd recommend against.

This place always has a wait, we were told 30 minutes, it's usually an hour or so, and our wait was actually only 15 minutes. We had grabbed a drink and went outback to watch the volleyball. Didn't get thru the drink before they paged us. Had a scallop special and fish burrito. Excellent as always. It's a quaint little... More

YUM! We saw the review on Food Networks website, and it was very close to where we were staying. I ordered the Shrimp Barbados, and it was delightful! The seasoning was delicious and filled with Caribbean flavor. My husband ordered steamed shrimp and veggies, and is still talking about how delicious it was! If you enjoy Caribbean-flavored food, this is... More

We visited this restaurant at 8:15 pm on a Wednesday night and were told the wait would be an hour and a half. We went somewhere else. The next night, we went earlier around 6:30 and had to wait over an hour. However, they had games going on behind the restaurant to keep everyone busy. My daughter and I had... More

So many beach restaurants just look alike - a pile of fried seafood, some lackluster sides and perky staff in silly nautical outfits. That's not Tortugas. This place has great food - really cool stuff like the incredible tuna dish I had last week. My vegetarian friend was pleased with the offerings for her palate as well. The staff was... More

We make a habit of asking the locals where the best places are and sure enough this was one of them; the exterior is nondescript, but the food was delicious, beverages cold & staff very friendly!! Will dine there again.....wonderful!! Not on the water, but the service & food make up for the lack of scenery!!!

Small place, means you will likely wait for a table. But beach volleyball and corn hole in back! Our food was good to above average. Has a "local" kind of vibe. My brother raved about his steamed platter. I had an interesting smokey-cheesy sauce on my tuna. Will go again.

Great place for fresh seafood! The place is very low key and casual. Good menu but the one thing that was missing were oysters. Didn't matter - good food at a fair price. Can't beat that!

had delicious after dinner drinks. Waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Shared a piece of key lime pie, portion small but excellent flavor like in the keys.
