Hubby loved his rock fish and crawfish, which was served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. A good change from other restaurants' main dishes, which either come with no sides, or always have fries. Sad to say that I had a burger because I was burnt out on seafood. Had another room in the back with a pool table and foosball... More

Saturday night 730 and only had a 20 minute wait, not to mention staff is smiling and helpful. I ordered the rock fish crawfish plate and it was possibly the best crawfish I've ever eaten. Will recommend and come back to this place next year.

We always eat here on our trips to the Outer Banks. The Wings are to die for. Other appetizers are good too, and the beer selection is very good.

The calamari appetizer was good, and we ordered their red drum chowder. I should have asked first, but there was bacon in it and we don't eat meat, pork, etc. Picking around the bacon worked and the soup was good. We both enjoyed the Caesars salad with blackened salmon which was good as well. Be prepared for a noisy atmosphere.

We ended up here after being down the road at another restaurant that told us it would be 30 minute wait with it having just opened. We were seated immediately at Red Drum and server very friendly. I opted for the Tuna special and husband ordered crab cake special. Tuna was prepared perfectly. As a matter of fact, my husband... More

If you read the description, it's a simple recipe. Clams, bacon, water, herbs, carrots and taters. That's it. No cream. No tomato base. No red drum either, as a traveler below lamented, where they clearly didn't bother to read the description of the menu item. It's amazing though. You should try it.

We stopped at the Red Drum for dinner with our two adult children. It is a very casual friendly, atmosphere. The staff was attentive and prompt. when our food came I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation. It was colorful, appealing to the eye and worthy of an upscale restaurant. All four of our meals were delicious. Two of us... More

We randomly came upon this place and I'm so glad we did. We had a great late lunch on a Sunday. The place was not crowded and we had great service. I had a delicious fresh salad and a perfectly cooked burger with awesome fries. Prices were reasonable and I would love to go back and try some more food!... More

Four of us had dinner. Parking was extremely limited, considering the number of tables. However, we were seated immediately, while larger parties continued to wait. Several beers on tap. Menu was fairly extensive. One person order jambalaya, which had a generous portion of perfectly cooked large shrimp. Another person ordered yellow fin tuna with crab garnish. The tuna was over...
