A great find for us girls! We went there during our girls week and had great oysters on the half shell and the beer can chicken (the special of the evening) - great food! We tried to taste all of the beers on tap but were unsuccessful - what we did taste were great. Please-make sure you try this hidden... More

I haven't been here in a few years and remembered loving it previously so had dinner there when visited OBX again this year. It was so good! We waited in the bar area for just a few minutes while awaiting our dinner. The bar area is very nice and bartender wonderful. We then had dinner which was delicious! I had... More

We decided that we wanted to just have a smaller meal and a brew. We split an appetizer and a sandwich and enjoyed both. We then went for a dessert and wasn't disappointed either. They also have a very good selection of beers. The service was excellent and the prices reasonable.

We stopped in here on our way into town on Saturday -- lunch time - wasnt too crowded...the atmosphere was great ... we had mussels and clam chowder stew, grilled tuna sandwich and a tuna wrap with pesto ... all tasted WONDERFUL!! We stayed in Buxton or we would have revisited this place for sure!!!

This was our first visit to the Outer Banks. We stumbled upon this place by accident for lunch and were thrilled that we did. Our party ordered the Red Drum Chowder, which was very good, but wasn't the cream-style chowder we were expecting. We also had the Taphouse Tuna Sandwich, which was excellent. The Gamefish Burrito was SPECTACULAR (I'm not... More

The chef knows flavor profiles. Oh my! Four of us had different meals - fish and chicken. Everyone raved about their meal. I had the Hawaiian Blackened Chicken. OH MY GOODNESS. It was SUPERB. Too many people there for me to lick the plate, but I considered it! This had been our #2 choice at OBX. It just went to... More

We popped in here on our way south this past weekend about 9pm Friday night. There was a short wait so we sat at the bar. It was very busy but the staff was very friendly and service was prompt. Good selection of beers on tap. I had the their special tuna sandwich, can't remember the name but it was... More

My husband always gets the calamari and I get the Portobello sandwich...just wonderful food and service. And even when we get something else, we have never been disappointed. Great assortment of beers, French fries can't be beat. This is one of go to places in the OBX. We've been going to Red Drum for years!
