My wife picked this restaurant out for our anniversary dinner and what an excellent choice. It was out only "white linen" dining out of our trip and was perfect for celebrating out 12th anniversary. Atmosphere (quieter than the other top end restaurants we tried during the weekend) was more conducive to our celebration (i.e., quieter). The prices are a little... More

While visiting the Outer Banks, NC, we celebrated a pair of adult birthdays. Atmosphere and service was excellent. The food was a little slow in coming out but it was a busy dining evening. The food was delicious and hot when it arrived, and certainly more than ample servings. There were gluten free selections and lots of seafood dishes that... More

Solid choice for a family seafood dinner. Traditional choices, nothing unexpected, but all very good.

We don't usually do fancy restaurants but you don't need to dress up to eat here but I am glad we did. Very elegant. Started off with crackers and a crock of cheese. Yummy! Then we had fresh rolls. Tried escargot for the first time. Very nice. We both ordered seafood dishes and they were DELISH!! He service was outstanding.

My sister and I stopped in to pick up a take out order for Lobster Bisque, and truly, it's the best we've had...ever...anywhere. While we did not stay for seating, it looks like a lovely atmosphere and I cannot wait to visit it again.

I have made it a point every summer for the past eight years to have dinner at owens. Although the food this year was great, the services was awful. I actually received better service at the Jolly Roger where we stopped for breakfast. I will not be returning to Owens.

This place has been here for many years and clearly has a loyal following. The interior is warm with dark woods and candles. Service is gracious and prompt. The menu is very standard fare with lots of fried seafood, Hush Puppies, crab cakes and fish. Though the appeal is clear and the service is excellent, the food is typical and... More

This was our first visit to Owen's Restaurant. The Atmosphere was cozy white table cloth. We had a booth which was awesome! We just loved it! From the start with the Server to the Crock Cheese with crackers. We order the Portobello Mushroom Appetizer, Was Excellent. The meals might seem a little pricey, But well worth it for the amount... We enjoyed 2 great dinners during the week we were there. We have dined there for 20 plus years and can depend on receiving incredibly prepared food and great service. The restaurant is family owned and the owners are very "hands on They are also very sensitive to food allergies. Beautiful dessert tray if you can find room to indulge!
