We had dinner at Owen's with our cousin and his wife while in Nags Head. The atmosphere was great the food was good and the service was good. My thought is though it is nice but it is a bit overpriced.

Seafood and beef is top notch. Pricy however, food & service is quite good. Another old restaurant in Nags Head since the mid '40's. You will enjoy.

Does it look a little dated? Yes. Is it trendy? No. But the food and service are very good, and it's a great place to go and remember earlier trips to the area. I left feeling full of nostalgia as well as a yummy prime rib with excellent stuffed mashed potatoes.

Owens has always been one of our special restaurants on the Outer Banks, and we always go once even though it is a long drive from Corolla. This visit, it didn't live up to expectations. We were seated promptly, and they did a good job of seating all patrons with a little space between them; even though they are very... More

From the wonderful escargot app to the delicious seafood entres, Owens' surpassed our expectations. We were in Nags Head for the week and tried several of the popular local establishments. We are so glad that we were introduced to this restaurant. We were impressed by not only the food but also by the very friendly staff and the charming decor.... More

Reservations are not accepted but when my party of 7 arrived we went upstairs to the bar and were served dinner up there. A quieter place which I recommend. We were told we would have a 25 minute wait for the dining room. We had 3 more friends join us and they were accommodated quickly. My dinner of salmon was... More

We chose to eat here but should have known when they didn't print the prices in the menu guide. My husband had a broken foot and was using a knee scooter and they asked him if they could take it out and put in away for him. Must have embarrassed them. They bring out cheese and crackers at first Cheese... More

This is my 3rd trip into this restaurant over the course of 6 years. It is a very busy place with crowded dining. Charlotte was an excellent server this time. Food came out when it was supposed to and no inordinate waits in between. They bring out some cheese spread to start things off cheese is good crackers were boring... More

We had dinner there twice, and both times it was very good. This is a surprising big restaurant, which consists of a number of smaller rooms. The menu is varied, service efficient and friendly, and there is a good wine list, many available by the glass. We can recommend Owen's.

There's a reason this restaurant has been in operation for 60+ yrs. Service is impeccable, menu sophisticated and wonderfully prepared and presented. Small shop filled with small, elegant gifts. If you can only visit one restaurant in Nags Head, make it this one!
