I love Owen's. We go there each visit to the OBX, with the exception of when we tried another place a few years ago nearby. Huge mistake. We will always come here from now on. The service rivals that of fancy restaurants, but the atmosphere is very casual. The dishes there are impeccably delish, but what I find odd are... More

What fantastic food, great service and beautiful ambiance! Don't miss this place if you find yourself near Nags Head. We went for the first time on our first night, and then decided once wasn't enough. (If you like oysters, they have an appetizer in a wine reduction sauce that's brilliant!)

I loved the cluttered ambiance of the restaurant and coming from the Pacific NW I am a seafood snob so was also delighted how good the calamari was. We dined in a small alcove all to ourselves and our waiter was a professional. Very attentive, very astute. I would go again.

The service was excellent as can be expected from a full service restaurant. The food was good. The hush puppies (first time we ever had some) were delicious.

We go here occasionaly and for special occasions because the dinner menu is fairly pricey. The food quality is very good and the portions are decent. I wouldnt say the food wows you - it's good average food and the seafood is touted as being very fresh. It's just over priced for what it is. My son ate the lobster... More

You can't go to Nags Head or the Outer Banks at all and not eat at Owens! The food is always wonderful, great service, generous portions and fish and crabs just caught from the Atlantic Ocean across the street. There's also a fun bar upstairs with lively music. Owens is definitely a must!

Not your average beach restaurant. Nice ambiance, great menu selection and top notch service by Paul.

We celebrated our anniversary at Owens after visiting years ago. The lobster bisque was just as good as we remembered, actually even better! Just the soup would have sufficed as our meal, but we also ordered grilled shrimp and a seafood Napoleon. Wow. That sums it up! Excellent, attentive service and absolutely delicious food make Owens our favorite spot to... More

We have been coming to the OBX for 32 years. Back then, Owens was the best on the beach. But over the years other much better restaurants have sprung up. Owens has not really bumped up with the competition. It is good, but not great. Went there with friends for the "Maine" event, which is a lobster celebration. Three in... More
