After a 3 1/2 hrs drive, this Sam's & Omie's was my first stop -- for lunch. I entered a very bust restaurant at 1:00 PM and was told by a hostess that it would be a very long wait. As it was just me, she said I could grab a seat at the bar if I wanted. I said... More

Sam & Omie's has been a Nags Head staple for decades. Great seafood. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very reasonable prices and good, friendly service. When in Nag's Head, dine a Sam & Omies!

We had breakfast at Sam and Omie's 4 mornings in a row: eggs, grits, hash browns, biscuits, multigrain pancakes - all at rock bottom prices! Super friendly service! Lots of locals.

This gives you a rustic feel and the staff is very nice and ready to help make your visit a nice one! I had fried shrimp and scallops and by far the scallops were the best. This was not a place I would have chosen if it hadnt have been for people telling us about it. So check it out!

Typical breakfast food. Biscuits were good. Just ordered eggs, sausage, and hash browns (have had better). Hubby had the country ham, eggs, & hash browns. We usually eat here once on each trip, just for nostalgia.

My adult son were on our annual trip to the Outer Banks and returned to Sam & Omie's for a late lunch. We had spent several hours on the beach and were on the Atkins Diet so we were concerned whether they would have good offerings for our diet restrictions. We were pleased with the variety of salads available and... More

After being tired of waiting for a table we sat at the bar , we ordered than waited another 45 minutes for our food. To be honest I hate it when people trash a business. Sam & omie fall way short of the hype. The crab cake, well let's just say we have had better from a frozen dinner. the... More

Love this place! My family goes every year for dinner when were down at the Outer Banks. It's a great place for simple delicious seafood, never disappoints. This year we even went back the next day and got some early dinner to take away and eat on the beach. Will always be a part of our OBX experience. Nothing fancy,... More
