Classic Old Nags Head type place right across from Jennette's Pier. Food is good but average. Not much seating, waits likely. Worth a stop if in the neighborhood.

Let's get the important stuff out of the way first. My wife and I have been coming down to the Outer Banks since before a really smart guy invented the acronym "OBX". This is the first time we've gone to Sam & Omie's. We had dinner. It was great. Our server was great. The price was a bit more than... More

This restaurant is nothing fancy but if you want good food don't forget to dine here! I enjoyed a seafood dinner that included two entrée choices. I had the broiled scallops ( so good! ) and the fish of the day ( flounder ). Everything is so fresh and the portions are quite large. I enjoyed the collards and the... More

Went here on the last night of our OBX vacation, and WOW, what a treat. Well worth the wait for dinner. By far, the best seafood we've had all week! Perfectly prepared shrimp, succulent scallops, and flounder. We will certainly be back the next time we visit the OBX!

Love Sam & Omie's food and friendly staff. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Get the she crab soup - you won't be disappointed. Don't judge a book by its cover. Just go and enjoy

Our annual Outer Banks vacations begin and end with Sam & Omies, We love the place! Great food and friendly service in an atmosphere that IS the Outer Banks. The decor is rustic, with nautical and sport fishing photos on the wall. It's situated across from Jennette's Fishing Pier. The feel of the place is relaxed and casual. The food... More

Just got back from a week on the OBX and just had to take the wife and her son to Sam and Omie's. I have been going there since I was a teen but had not been back for many years. They had never been and while I was the more excited they both seemed to enjoy their breakfasts. My... More

My family of five ate here for a late lunch early dinner. We were seated right away. We had clam chowder hatteras style and it was good. We had lobster bisque and it was good. We had mushroom bisque and it was good. The clam chowder was the better of the three in my opinion. I ordered a fish sandwich... More

We ate breakfast here years ago and absolutely loved the Crab Egg Benedict. I couldn't wait to eat it again this trip. And it was fantastic again!! Yum!
