AWESOME!!!

Every friend I send there thanks me. Its my favorite place to go and get the most awesome cheeseburger and 10 cents shrimps. The atmosphere is friendly and music is good. The covered area is small, but very cozy. You can get a basket of 20 delicious seasoned shrimps for 10 cents each before 6 p.m... read more

Such a nice place when it's warm enough to sit outside!! Fish Heads is very casual with cheap prices. Wouldn't say the food is amazing, but it's still very good and you can't beat the price!! Plenty of drink options and extremely friendly and prompt service. The music was a little loud, but this place has such a fun atmosphere... More

The food was excellent and relaxed casual environment. They recommended other local places to eat and were very friendly! Only beer and wine in plastic cups which was fine! We were inside due to it being November but nice ocean view! Would love to go in warmer weather and sit out on the deck on the pier.

If you want have a little old school fun, this is the place to go. 24 NC draft beers, 10 cent boiled shrimp, great burgers and amazing Key Lime Pie. No need to dress up. This is as laid back as it gets and you are sitting on a pier on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.... More

I go fishing there and enjoy their food and friendly workers. The prices are OK for area. Many of the sandwiches are great. The only draw-back is the bathroom. It is outside and not too wonderful. Great Food!

This bar and grill is in walking distance of our beach house. How fun can that be? For years it was just the Outer Banks Fishing Pier. Now it has a bar and grill on the pier! Weekend nights they even have bands. It's fun to sit on the pier, drink some refreshments, and eat. The food is great too.... More

I met a person on the beach that told us about this place... it was a few miles from our hotel. The waitress was great and the food was good. If you are looking for a hamburger french fry place with a good atmosphere this is the place. The Key lime pie was home made...it was light and very good.... More

Fun place to hang out. Great time having a beer and snack over the breaking waves. Good food for the price. Must try place while in South Nags Head.

While visiting OBX celebrating our anniversary, my wife and I met up with a dear friend of ours, who just happens to be an OBX resident. We wanted to meet for lunch and she suggested Fish Heads. We are glad she did. Although a bit obscure, this was the place to be. Located just off the fishing pier, stepping into... More

The Fish Heads Bar & Grille in Nags Head is a bit off the beaten path and somewhat hard to find. It is located primarily in a residential section adjacent to the National Seashore park area. Parking is very limited and the restaurant is actually located on a fishing pier. You have to walk thru the fishing pier store to... More
