We love to ride the bikes down and meet friends for lunch or dinner, this summer it has been crazy busy so haven't been much, looking forward to off season with lower crowds. Love the setup on Outer Banks Pier, can sit outside on the pier or inside if weather not so great, watch the waves and surfers, people fishing... More

I'm here now, as I am writing this review. Happy hour is from 4-6 and we got here at 5:50. We placed our order as soon as we got here and it took over an hour to get our food- shrimp and sweet potato fries. We had to ask our waiter 3 times for our food; granted, it isn't his... More

We had a blast at Fishheads. We got there around 6:30(after the happy hour.) We had the conch fritters, fish tacos, and the tuna salad YUM. Our servers johnathan and Laurel were fantastic. I recommend a seat overlooking the ocean on the left side. We will be back next year.

Just fantastic atmosphere at this small bar located right on the pier. Scenery cannot be beat! Eat in the sun, under an umbrella, or under the roof, all with the same fantastic ocean view. Food was good, I had the fish taco and the fish was grilled to perfection. Lots of beers and basic menu. Best lunch spot in town,... More

Pulling up a bar stool at a very friendly outdoor bar on a pier while drinking beer and listening to live music is one of the best ways I can think of to spend an afternoon on vacation. Fish Heads is a truly authentic OBX experience. I'd put the bar in the "dive category" but don't let that scare you.... More

Never had a bad time @ Fish Heads! Shrimp specials in the afternoon, KILLER views of the beach, FRIENDLY wait staff, and just the right mix of bar/seating/decor. The sweet potato fries are OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the sandwiches rock as well. A word of caution - it does get crowded, but it's worth it and the wait staff... More

We decided not to go here after the incredibly disrespectful phone service. My wife and I were trying to find a place to take the kids for dinner so I called to see if they had a kids menu. The guy that answered the phone was obviously in a poor mood as I could hear him in the background saying... More

We came three times as a family for beer, fish tacos and live music. The staff is fantastic. The views are stunning. The fish tacos, shrimp and cheese fries are amazing. Beer changes daily but a fantastic selection. I cant wait to come back next year!

This place was perfect - the waiter, the food, the atmosphere, the music... High top tables on the pier surrounded by a string of lights. There is a covered bar area with tables for bad weather. There was live music which is always a bonus - just a man and his guitar, my favorite kind. I had a shrimp basket... More
