Diamond in the sea

This place is absolutely our favorite eating spot for vacation. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner here. We could enjoy the karaoke while sitting on the beach with the kiddos playing in the sand. It was awesome!

I decided to have lunch at Fish Heads on May 27th. Based on my experience I would not eat here again. I ordered the clam strips and fries and was extremely dissapointed with the quality of the clam strips. The fries were the proper temperature and were well seasoned. However, the clams were covered in too much batter, were cooked... More

Great place to hang out & listen to live music outside, sea breeze blowing, & 20 taps. Bar service was excellent. Limited parking but well worth the effort. Will definitely be back!

Not at all fancy, more "beach chic", (i.e. your better sunglasses) great beer on what used to be called Oliver's Fishing Pier, but I think it's called Nag's Head Pier now. Fishhead's Bar and Grill has 15 cent shrimp until 6pm sharp. Okay shrimp, after six you get the bigger shrimp but for a little more money. Good crab cake... More

Another great visit. Been looking forward to this place all year. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. The bar is actually located outdoors on the pier over the beach. Beautiful views, great craft beer selection, and an excellent price on happy hour steamed spiced shrimp. Has live music nightly.

Great local ocean front dive bar! Open air. Show up in your swim suit or beach wear. Loud music, sometimes live. 15 cent happy hour shrimp and good basic bar food. The only negative is they only serve beer, wine, and some Mikes bottles, no mixed drinks.

The view is great, the vibe is good. The food is about as good as Sonic at best. Not a great selection of wine either. I would go back, but not to eat.

This is a great spot! If you want to have a drink while looking at the ocean this is where you want to go, if you are looking for great food your choices are limited. The staff was very good and friendly, the bartender was very good as well. The prices are really good for food and drinks. Parking can... More

Definitely one of my favorite places to visit on the Outer Banks. Great food, incredible service, friendly, fun...amazing view of the OCEAN....music, laughter, beer! A combination of locals and tourists that makes EVERYONE feel like you're on vacation.
