The freshest ingredients for entree's, homemade baked goods, (also have a gluten free bread and sometimes a gluten free dessert choice). Good for eat in or take out. For dinner the small dining room is transformed with candles and tablecloths offering a friendly staff ready to serve you.

I live in Hatteras an when ever I come to Nagshead I always eat here! Never have been disappointed! I love the Cuban press and their amazingly good fries! This time I had the hummus wrap.... So fresh! It was very good! They were busy inside so I sat outside an had lunch. The server even served me outside! Waited... More

Café Lachine was around for at least a year or two before we ever tried it. After our first time, we knew we would be back and it has quickly risen to the top of our lunch favorites. We have not tried it for breakfast or dinner because we typically only go out as a family for lunch. It is... More

Healthy entree's well prepared for a fair price. This relatively new restaurant has become a favorite for locals who want to eat healthy even though they may not have a lot of time to linger over their meal. Lachine's does both eat in and take out. Outstanding options for really good take out to enjoy on the beach or wherever... More

Stopped by Café Lachine for lunch one recent Wednesday - food was excellent. I had crab soup and a grilled Portobello sandwich - both fresh and delicious. Ice tea was also great. Desserts looked wonderful but did not eat any this trip.

Great little cafe nestled in a strip mall but don't let that stop you. They are open for breakfast, lunch and early dinner. They make their own bread for sandwiches and the roasted potato garlic soup was heavenly.

We stop in each year for their gluten free loaves of bread which is the best we've had! Just wish they had more they could sell.

Stopped in for coffee. Maybe it was because it was the middle of the afternoon, but the gal who helped us seemed annoyed. Coffee was cold. Brownie was fantastic.

We had lunch here and it was fabulous ! It's a small place, but very friendly staff, lots of locals eating there, and the food was very fresh. Highly recommend it !
