Been here twice. First time we sat down and had a light breakfast. Egg sandwiches on croissants. All very good and reasonable. This morning we stopped for coffee, hot chocolate and a few baked goods to go. The hot chocolate is made fresh with a splash of vanilla. Best ever. The carrot coconut muffin was divine as was the chocolate... More

All fresh made items- and desserts are great. Little on pricey side- but worth going for someplace different and tasty. People were very nice and restaurant clean.

First visit from friends recommendation, and she was right! Quaint storefront cafe but very clean and well run. The dessert case looked scrumptious and my only complaint is , I was out of room to try a dessert! Never fear I will be back shortly for just dessert. The tiramisu looked incredible. I had the cream of crab soup which... More

I tried their chicken sandwich -- it was lovely. The potato salad --- it was lovely. And even the tiny cupcake -- even it was lovely. Full marks and many thank for the tasty food. DO NOT leave Nags Head without visiting this place......it is a hidden gem...

Great sandwiches and oohhh the deserts! The Ho-Ho is to die for - very light and delicious. My wife had the fried green tomato BLT and loved it. Iced coffee was also good.

We had breakfast here on our way out of town. We enjoyed various biscuit sandwiches ( egg, chicken , and I had the soft shell crab) and muffins. Everything was delicious. They also offer some other baked goods and unique breakfast dishes like the marscapone stuffed french bread. They offer lunch too which also looked like it would be good... More

We went to Cafe Lachine because we got a gift card. We really were expecting small portions for hefty prices. We were very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Italian. They loaded it with meat. There was a good amount of dressing on it, which I love. I can't say enough about it. It really hit the spot. It was a... More

great breakfast choices. fast pleasant service. Busy place for takeout as well. lots of happy regular customers. The french toast stuffed with cream along with berries was delicious. Almost like having dessert and entree at the same time. The Eggs Benedict dish was the best!
