My family and I we're looking forward dining at The Brine and Bottle after seeing it on Diners Drives and Dive. But once in Nags Head for our vacation we we're disappointed to find that it had closed without any notification or posting on their website. We found out from a local they had closed literally last week...and despite the... More

Unfortunately Brine and Bottle has decided to move to Florida. If you run across them there, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

We were at the Oasis and this popped up positive on TA and thought to give it a try. While a bit $$$ it was totally a great pick. Our family of 5 all voted after 3 weeks of travel from Orlando to DC that this was our best dining experience. Note though, we were informed when arriving that groups... More

This quaint little spot sits on the Manteo causeway overlooking Albermarle Sound. Famous for their homemade fried pickles and bacon jam. If you sit outside - prepare for the wind off the water. Lighting outside is non existent. Food is unique and a little more "gourmet" than my preference. Great Service

Two couples dined very enjoyably here again. Everything, scallops, fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits and tuna were outstanding. AS was the blueberry/peach cobbler. It is too bad that the restraurant is closing next Friday. They will be greately missed. It was one of our favorites on the OBX.

There are quite a few great seafood restaurants in Nags Head that do high volume, are high quality but predictable. If you're looking for a more low key, gourmet food experience in an intimate setting, then check this place out. Menu options are more limited than other places, it is on the pricer side, there is limited space for groups... More

The Brine and Bottle is tucked away in an unassuming "shopping" mall on the sound front you'll find on your way to the town of Manteo. We had heard it was more of a couples type of place so my wife and I made it our vacation date night destination and we were not disappointed! Lynette was our server and... More

If you're looking for a quaint, rustic high quality food experience, The Brine and Bottle is your place. Overlooking the sound, this place through TripAdvisor is claimed to have an authentic feel to it. I got the rare sear tuna, which is locally caught off Hatteras Island, which comes with a tomato, green beans salad with a vinaigrette sauce lightly... More
