While traveling from North Carolina we wer looking for a place for a quick bite. So glad we saw this little place on the hill just off Hwy 129. The barbecue sandwich (pulled pork) was very good. Good flavor and very moist. the fries were hot and crisp but to top it off we had dessert! Peach cobbler with vanilla... More

On the way home to bryson city from an out of town trip, we thought we'd get an order to go. For starters, the total was $32!! Thats the price of a so called full slab of ribs and a half chicken, a pint of beans and Cole slaw. Talk about squealing. We arrived home a short time later, opened... More

The portions were small, the onion loaf was good. The service was good, my drink never made it below the half empty mark.

Great food at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere. We were there on Sunday at lunch time. They were very busy, but we didn't have wait for a table or the food. Place is much bigger than it appears. Waitress was gracious and was told to have a "blessed day." Appreciated that.

Service was excellent, comforting BBQ restaurant decor, obviously a popular local place for Sunday lunch. Sides (cole slaw and BBQ beans) were excellent but the pig must have been having a bad day. The pulled pork was on the fatty side and a little chewy. It also lacked flavor unless doused with BBQ sauce. I realize the world is divided... More
