Very good dinner

We had dinner here on a Friday night. We arrived about 5:30pm and were seated immediately. By six o'clock it was getting crowded. It is a family place so is a little noisy. I had the shrimp and chicken with red wine sauce on wild rice which was very good. It came with 2 very large pieces of... read more

My family and I had dinner at Brother's on a Tuesday evening. The soup was excellent and the large salads delicious. Two people in our party had a hamburger that they said was very good. We did not have dessert but there were many items to choose from. Also, a salad bar was available. Service was superb!

Spent the weekend in Murphy, NC on a Jeeping trip. We asked the people at Durhamtown Tellico where we should eat and they sent us to Brothers. Best advice all weekend! Food was incredible!!!!! We had a few picky adult eaters in the group, and even they were pleased! Had the cutest little waitress who kept up with refills and... More

We enjoyed Brothers so much we went more than once on our vacation. Wednesday is trivia night & lots if fun and prizes are gift cards for each round and overall. Good value and good service. Front of restaurant reminded me of Cracker Barrel's in Florida with crafts, old time candy and more - giving it that country kitchen feel.

This was a very pleasant surprise! Hole in the wall places make me nervous and from looking outside, I wanted to leave before I walked in. But! What a surprise. We waited about 15 min in a cute lobby. Enjoyed a well managed salad bar and fully enjoyed our country dinners. This place was a great stop to our trip.... More

I have been to the two Brother's Restaurants before this new location. I have no idea what happened but the food and the service was terrible. Took two times before beer was remembered by the waitress. I asked three times for water and both servers said they would be right back and then proceeded to walk passed the pitcher. I... More

I was very surprised by the size of Brother's Restaurant. The service was very good. I had chopped steak with fries. It was very good especially the fries. I also had a cup of potato soup which was also very good.

My group was staying at a nearby hotel on business and were too tired to go out looking for food, so walked across the parking lot to this strip mall restaurant. We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised by the charming decor. Upon being seated we were greeted by what turned out to be one of the best servers... More

Brother's is the place in Murphy for mountain hospitality and "down home" square meals, but be forewarned ... if you're pressed for time consider their pedestrian buffet. Our menu service was unhurried. We both concluded our meals were served well past their fresh from the oven prime. Unfortunately, and hopefully a rare event, my baked potato was rotten. I sent...
