OMG!!! I cannot express how good my dinner was at Murphy’s Chophouse. If you are ever in Murphy you must have dinner there. I for my appetizer had crab cakes. My second course was Caesar salad. Last, main course was salmon, snap peas, and backed sweet potato.. With every bite I all I could say was OMG this is soooo... More

Our family of 5 was in Murphy after whitewater rafting on the Ocoee. We were looking for something other than fastfood for dinner, but it was already 7:30 on a Sunday evening and there just weren't many options. We found the Chophouse. We were definitely happy when we walked in. The restaurant décor was beautiful and inviting. The staff was... More

Stopped in an Saturday evening with reservations in place. Service was average but the food and price was not. Steaks were thin and proportions were light. Nice atmosphere but not worth the buck.

After a long day on the road, we were looking for dinner about 7pm on a Sunday. Murphy's Chophouse was one of the few restaurants we found open since we really didn't want fast food. Salad was just the right size, didn't think garbanzo beans would be good but they were. Salad dressing was phenomenal. The pepper crusted steak (and... More

When we first got there, it was a little empty, but quickly picked up. Out server was so sweet and hilariously funny the whole time without being intrusive, I could've went back every night just for her! The food was also very good. My husband got a Caesar salad with the BEST homemade dressing on it! I'm dreaming of it... More

I was greeted and seated promptly. My waitress was Rachel. She was very nice and informative about the specials. I had the prime rib and it was cooked just right and very delicious. I will go back.

I am so sorry to give it a mediocre review. I went with a group of six. We are from florida, and come up here a couple times a year, as we own a cabin in bear paw. I hate to say that we left.... Disappointed. Granted, we are meat eaters....and know good steaks..... So maybe these are good to... More

After an afternoon whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River a few miles north towards Bryson City, our guide recommended Murphy's Chophouse as we headed back to Hayesville, NC. We did and we were NOT disappointed! While the chance of rain ruined our desire to eat outside on their patio, the inside was comfortable and inviting. Our waiter, Drew, as we... More

My son and I stopped in on an all you can eat crab legs night for 24.99. We decided we just wanted salads and an appetizer. There lowest price steak was 24.99 as well. Neither of us drink alcohol yet the bill was over 50.00 dollars. The appetizers were great, the salads good but definitely overpriced.

We were hoping for a good meal at the Chophouse. We got a great meal and great service. The four of us ordered different entrees and they were all excellent. We started out with the fried onion appetizer. It was as good as any we have had. Next we had the onion soup. It was perfectly presented and tasted wonderful.... More
