It was busy when we got there. Little wait time. Great operation and nice, sweet service. Food was great. It was the biggest red velvet cake as a single slice that I've had. Would recommend to anyone in Mount Airy, NC.

13 Bones has good variety and great food. The portions are large and the value is remarkable. So much so that our family from the North thought there was a mistake in calculating the bill. Usually busy during meal times and especially busy on Sunday after church. Flounder is a favorite. However, there are other great selections.

We decided to eat here after visiting the Visitors Center and picking up a menu. We wanted a sit down place where we could take our time but was not chain food that we could get anywhere...we were able to be seated as soon as we got there and the service was great. We had the ribs and they were... More

The locals recommended this place and I am so glad we went! The service was excellent. The waitress, chef, and owners were very accommodating to my gluten allergies and that is hard to find! Hubby had the special of fried chicken with gravy and mashed potatoes and cleaned his plate! I had tuna seasoned with pepper and sea salt and... More

Food was great and the service was wonderful also. We were there for dinner, did have to wait about 30 minutes but it was Valentine weekend.

13 Bones was recommended by a staff member from the Hampton Inn as her favorite place. We researched many restaurants online and decided to follow up on her recommendation. Seating was quick and is very comfortable. Food selection is quite varied. All of our meals were well prepared and tasty. Our server (Monica) was excellent, ensuring our drinks were filled... More

My husband had the flounder and shrimp which he loved. I was a little less impressed with my terriaki chicken, with rice and apples. The chicken did not have enough terriaki taste for me and the rice was too small a portion to go with the large piece of chicken but it was a good experience.

13 Bones is one of Mount Airy's locally owned restaurants. You are greeted by both staff and managers when you arrive and the food is absolutely wonderful. The service is always outstanding in this restaurant not matter the day or time. I had visitors in town a few months ago and 12 of us arrived 35 minutes before closing time,... More

I'm just thinking we got there late on Sunday (Memorial Day weekend). Wife had steak/shrimp that was very standard. I cannot even remember what I had but you would think something stuck. We can only remember very mushy sweet potato, canned beans and OK service.
