Get there early!

This was the #1 recommendation from locals I spoke with in the area for great food at reasonable prices. Have to say I agree. I got there at 5:40 and there were three tables left. Within five minutes, there were 20+ people waiting at the door and outside down the sidewalk. Ordered a 1/2 rack... read more

The food came out fast and was fresh. The service was really good and the cost is very reasonable. A great place to catch lunch if you are traveling through Mt. Airy along 52.

We frequent 13 Bones for their excellent salads and sandwiches. The blackened chicken salad is hands down, the best salad in town. The lunch specials are an especially good value, very inexpensive, tasty, and ample portions. Get a hot meal at lunch here for the price of a fast food combo. You can get a really good meal here if... More

Stopped on our way through Mt. Airy as we have never eaten at this chain before. First of all the parking is horrible. We were given a wait time of 30-35 minutes and it was over an hour until we got a table. I had a chicken dinner which was decent. My husband had steak tips and they were tough.... More

I absolutely love their lunch specials. The ribs are delicious. Great family atmosphere. My children enjoy the food as well.

I visited this restaurant on Valentines Day and it was extremely busy. The wait was very long but considering how many people were in front of me it was well handled. Also, with the amount of people there the food came out hot and quick. The hushpuppies seemed slightly cool, so I'll assume they were prefixed well in advance for... More

We were in a large group and very well taken care of. The ribs were probably the best choice and they proved to be the absolute best. They fell off the bone and the sauce I chose was perfect for that southern style, juicy taste.

There was quite a line at 13 Bones - but we heard people say it was worth the wait. The staff was very efficient in getting people seated, and getting food to the table. The food was excellent! I got dry rub ribs and they fell right off the bone and were seasoned just right. My husband got the Ribeye... More

What a surprise is correct. I usually dine at 13 Bones for the ribs. Today I dropped in for lunch. I was treated to a wonderful bowl of home style beef stew and 2 vegetables. The lunch was only made better by the wonderful service provided by Stephanie, what a delightful server ( not waitress ) because she definitely served... More

We chose to have seafood rather than a BBQ item. My husband had the crab cakes and I had flounder. The server was very attentive and willing to ask the chef questions I had about the food preparation. The service was excellent and the entrees a bit strong but still good. The mac and cheese was satisfactory but not by... More
