Great food and plenty!

My husband had the fried chicken over mashed potatoes with fried zucchini and a delicious homemade biscuit. I had the Italian chicken salad. Both were excellent and lots of food. Unfortunately for me, since I had to drive I could not eat the fried chicken. The service was excellent!

We walked into this storefront, family friendly room/restaurant and immediately had no doubt about the owners' religious leanings. Turns out the food was quite good. We ordered breakfast and discovered the pork had been cooked perfectly, the eggs were delicious, and the home fries were crispy and delectable - all in no time flat, at a decent price, and with... Only place that wasn't fast food close to the freeway. Reasonably priced and a wide selection of food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that stays at the best western that is close to copper pot

What a wonderful visit in "Mayberry!" Ending the day at The Copper Pot was very appropriate as the hospitality and charm stayed alive. I ordered the special southern chicken on creamy potatoes and gravy. Since the price was so low, I didn't expect too much...but I should have guessed Aunt Bea was probably in the kitchen. It was home style... More

On our drive from Ohio to Charleston we needed to get gasoline and lunch. We noticed the highway sign for the Copper Pot and decided to give it a try. We had the Club sandwich with fries and were not disappointed. One enjoyed desert and it was also a nice treat. It was such a down home and friendly place,... More

We've stopped here before and I thought they had good breakfast choices. Today, my eggs and pancakes were nothing special. My wife had a breakfast sandwich that she said wasn't too bad. Probably won't stop here again.

A grilled ham and cheese was asked for only to have toasted bread topped with a grilled ham slice topped and a slice of melted cheese was presented. It came open faced with the ham on one slice of toasted bread, NOT a grilled sandwich. The chicken taco salad came with a side of salsa and 1 teaspoon of packaged sour... More

This was a charming restaurant in the home of Andy Griffith and the place does him proud. They were very welcoming and the food was just like grandma used to make (or Aunt Bea). We thoroughly enjoyed our stop here on the way to South Carolina and you will too. What a refreshing break from the usual truck stop fare.... More

We try to make this our lunch break each time we travel through the area. We've never been disappointed with the menu and are always served promptly and with a smile. Very clean, very welcoming, easy to get to from the interstate.
