Description: Went their for dinner on Satruday night. Head and shoulders above any other options in Mount Airy. Chef Wishart, formerly at Cross Creek Country Club, does a great job. Trio has only been open 4 weeks. Very nice menu and list of daily specials. EWell chsen and decently priced wine list. Celebrated my father's 96 birthday and we were not disappointed!! Very memorable evening.

This is definitely Mt. Airy's best restaurant. Enjoyed the shrimp, scallops and crab cakes along with a few appetizers, soup and Caesar salad all excellent. There is full cocktail service with all top shelf liquor at reasonable prices. Our waitress Chynna was a real gem.

While a little off the beaten path, and can be hard to find, it is most definitely worth it!!! Everyone is very polite, and will help in anyway possible. Chris the head chef and owner walks the place and chats with the guests often. Every time I am in the area, I make sure I stop!

After all the places touting Andy Griffith and Barney and Goober, it was kind of a surprise to find this gem. The food was excellent. I had a really nice fried oyster salad - a dozen friend oysters on a bed of spinach with gorgonzola and a citrus dressing. It was excellent. My husband had the chicken sandwich; he said... More

This is the third time that I’ve dined at the restaurant. The first time we actually had a nice experience. The second time was pretty poor but we thought that maybe they just had an off night. I came here for the third time on Saturday and I was not impressed. We arrived at 8:30 PM. The previous times we... More

I liked it...nothing more nothing less. It was good, sirloin was cooked good, sides were solid, but nothing wowed me. Small menu with no appetizers (though they were offered) and no pre-meal salads (yet what I thought were dinner salads were on the menu). The entrees were listed as "Small plates and entrees" but I didn't know what set those... More

First, our meals were delicious and presented beautifully as we're our desserts. The chef outdid himself and we commend him for this. But, we were not greeted and waited for a long while after being seated. The restaurant's ambiance doesn't complement the food. The tables were being cleaned with spray bottles and clunky noises were around so a quiet dinner... More

More a special occasion type place to eat due to cost. I'm not sure why they seem to want you to have reservations here? It's never overly busy. The wait staff is great, food pretty good depending on what you order (salmon and risotto is awesome). I wished they'd rethink the "hoity toity" atmosphere and try to make it more... More

We were staying in glade valley to drop our child at Camp Cheerio And really wanted a little fine dining-- and there are very few choices in this region. Thanks to Google we found Trio and was so worth the 45 min drive. Every bite was fab from the fried green tomatoes, spring rolls, ravioli and especially the halibut special... More

If having a limited menu means upscale then this place is for you. The combinations could either be considered on trend or strange depending on if you like it or not. I noticed that several meals at our table were taken apart. Top bun from one hamburger, pimento cheese from another sandwich, saturated spinach (too much balsamic), and goat cheese... More

My wife and I dined here for the first time about a month ago. The experience was great in every way and I stated as such in my previous review. This experience could not have been more different. In our first experience I looked up the contact e-mail on their website a few weeks prior to coming. I asked for... More
