Still good but quantity and service slipping

We have been visiting this place about 2 times a year, over the last couple of years. On the last visit, the quantity of fried rice at dinner seemed significantly less than usual (25% or so). Wait staff (family and friends of the owner?) are earnest and eager but new and not familiar with the menu... read more

Good variety of dim sum. Not as great as those in Asia, but good enough in this faraway land. The xiao long bao skin was too thick and was so dry. I did not want to ingest it after taking a bite. The lotus leave glutinous rice only had meat and rice, several original ingredients were missing (e.g. mushroom, chinese... More

Noticed quality and quantity has dropped. Singapore noodles were noticeable smaller and the seafood delight had awful imitation crab. Wont be back for a long time. Noticed no one from management stopped by to poll customer experience. We used to go often, but not anymore. We are also asian family.

Not so crazy about this restaurant.. Unless you are really into serious Asia foods you might be disappointed..unusual foods like chicken feet did not hit my taste buds.. Not my cup of tea I should say..the place is convenient from the airport and it was clean with a friendly staff......

This was my first experience eating Dim Sum. DH and I went with our SIL, who is Asian, and our DD. SIL's parents own an ethnic restaurant in Michigan, so I trusted him. All the food he chose was good, in my opinion. SIL says he considers the food here good to excellent. I'll take his word for it. It... More

My finance and I found this gem on our way home from an event in Raleigh. We were actually looking for another location but decided to go here instead. We had never had dim sum before and it was delicious. I loved the sticky rice sesame balls! The staff was very patient with us since we were unfamiliar with the... More

The service was good and the waitress did a good job of explaining the complex menu to us. The options were varied and very interesting. The selection of savory items had a good taste and appearance. We were disappointed in the deserts, especially mango pudding and coconut pudding. They were gelatinous concoctions with no distinctive flavors topped with pieces of... More

We went here on a Sunday and there was a large selection of dishes including flat noodles with shrimp, my favorite dim sum. There are also pork, fish, beef short ribs, chicken feet and other shrimp dumplings along with Chinese broccoli and eggplant. There are steamed, panfried and deep fried dishes. The service is frequent and helpful. We really like... More

I'll limit this review to brunch-time dim sum only; I've never been to the this restaurant for anything else. I've enjoyed dim sum in New York City, Sydney, Toronto, San Francisco, Austin, and closer to my current home: Durham, NC as well as this place in Morrisville, NC. For my money the food at Dim Sum House stacks up favorably... More
