I've just got back from the Crab Shack. Frankly, the worst meal I have ever had. Revolting. The hushpuppies were cold, chewy and sweet. The coleslaw was sloppy and warm. Have enjoyed dining at The Crab Shack for years. We vacation on Emerald Isle every year and always look forward to dinner at this local tradition. more

August 17,2008. I just got back from a vacation on the "Crystal Coast" of North Carolina's 25 mile long Bogue Banks Barrier Island which is just over the bridge from Morehead City via Route 58. The Crab Shack is located in the little town of Salter Path, NC. If you want just simply great seafood, this is the place to go. Everything is good here.
