Corn and crab chowder was tepid and merely average. Fried combo was good, blue fish was very good. Kid liked shrimp and grits, Wife enjoyed broiled combo plate. Service was good.

Poor quality. Calimari was definitely frozen (terrible) with no lemon or garnish or sauce, hush puppies just defrosted over-fried sticks, shrimp linguini sub par, fish tacos not very good with limited tortillas, peel your own shrimp were plain and overcooked.. And after spending 60 dollars, they were kind enough to give us ONE breadstick. DO NOT EAT HERE. I am... More

I have visited this restaurant many times for many, many years and I keep coming back. The "Catch of the Day" seems so fresh, you almost feel as though you caught it yourself to cook. Watching the fishing fleet come in from a day on the water sure makes you feel relaxed. And don't forget to try the shrimp salad... More

Bright clean restaurant with great views of the sound. Menu held fresh fish and "home cooked" southern sides of slaw, green beans, squash casserole and soups, including she-crab and corn and crab chowder; the waitress even provided samples of each soup so we could decide and both were chosen. A wide variety of good desserts were available as well. Read... More

The food is Very good! I personally think it is $$$$... Nice view of ICW and outdoor seating. We enjoy eating dinner there on the 4th of July. Great seating for large families.

From time to time I hear people mention this Restaurant or ask about it. My advise here, as to them, is find somewhere else. With all the similar type restaurants to be found in this 'seafood area' there are MUCH better choices. Food quality is poor as are portions. I believe that many people think that because a 'seafood' restaurant... More

Wanted this to be a great experience for my hubby. I had been several years ago and hoped my experience the first time was an exception, but unfortunately it was not. This restaurant has a long history in Morehead City. For the life of me I don't understand why. When you walk in the smell of ?? not sure what,... More

It is a nice place to give a try, I don't think anyone in our party was blown away, but maybe we didn't get the right things. It's a bit pricey for large party. We had clams and crab dip for appetizers and they were both ok. Had tuna, pasta salad, and fried green tomatoes for my meal and it... More

My sister and I went for lunch on a sunny weekday afternoon. We had been told that the place could be pricey but the lunch specials were perfect portions at reasonable prices. We sat outside on the water to enjoy the weather. Unfortunately due to the time of day there was not any shade on the patio so something to... More

My wife got broiled sea scallops. My daughter ordered scallop linguini with lobster sauce which listed it as spicy and she confirmed. I ordered the ribeye steak. All were great and filling portions. Prices were reasonable $20-25 per entrée. Food was served promptly and friendly.
