Great fried fish!

We tried this restaurant because our teenage son recommended it and the service was very good. They had the best sweet tea I have had in the area. I tried the whole fried flounder which was really delicious. We also tried the New England seafood chowder and it was delicious. My husband tried... read more

On a busy summer night our party of 8 expected to wait at least an hour for a table. The place looked busy and had tables outside with diners who had pets we thought it was a family friendly place, good for our mixture of adult/teenage kids appetite. The hostess said it might be a 30 min wait...we were ok... More

The oyster burger was very good, with the oysters fried nicely. The soft shell crab daily special really pleased my wife, and the daughter relished the fried shrimp. The cole slaw was very good, with a delightful dressing that did not overwhelm the cabbage and spices. The setting is clearly informal, but the food is very good. Service was pleasant... More

My boyfriend and I decided on a whim to give this place a try one night. Upon arriving, the place was relatively empty, and we were seated in the bar area. Our waitress was sweet, but seemed annoyed by something, (hopefully not us), throughout the meal. The food was alright, but overpriced seeing how I could get the same meal... More

We had a large party but the waiter was still very attentive. I had the steak and shrimp and it was delicious! Steak prepared perfectly. My only complaint was the salads were served after our meals and the hot wings looked like they had honey mustard on them. We had to return them. Otherwise, great staff and great food. We... More

Great, fast service. Everyone enjoyed their food . Our waiter Drew was very personable and made sure we were well stock with drinks. We ordered a variety of fish and steak and were pleased .

We enjoyed our meal at Sammys. We had seafood and steak meals. Everything was prepared and served very well. Service was exceptionally good and attentive. Would go back when in the area.

So sad to visit a NC restaurant across from the water and served obvious frozen shrimp!! Crab dip was pretty good. Best thing was the bread that was served with it. It was the only hot item received. Definitely not a place to revisit.
