Surprises like dining at new restaurants are unpredictable. Checking Trip Advisor for a restaurant near where we were stopping for the night, we thought Caruso's sounded promising! Reservations available on Saturday night were early or late - good sign! We found it sandwiched between a pizza place and a bakery in a partially occupied strip mall - not a good... More

If you are comparing with the other burger / ribs joints in the region, you may consider this upmarket. Sorry, but fine dining it is not...Good food yes, but not fine dining... Bit more style than substance. I have eaten much finer foods for the same price range...

My wife and I chose Caruso's on our kid free weekend visit to Lake Norman not knowing what to expect. The restaurant had the perfect amount of romance and casualness to dine at for any occasion, but it's all about the food! Wy wife had a salmon dish while I enjoyed the special of the night ( veal chop), and... More

Overall it was good. We had 2 waiters...the female was very abrupt, but our male was on it. He told us about the specials, gave us bread. I think they have too many tables to work, but our food came out pretty fast, and it was delicious.....

Have dined here several times and it is hands down the best Italian restaurant in Mooresville. Lunch or dinner - it doesn't matter as it's all great! Can't wait to go back!

One of my fav places in Mooresville. Took my daughter here last month and the food grade was going downhill (antipasto appetizer prosciutto was sliced an inch thick) ... Tonight was date night with the husband - had reservation for seven and the host said 'at least 7:30, can't make people eat faster' ... Very nice....

Went for our anniversary. The restaurant from the outside looks sketchy but inside looked nice. My food dinner didn't look spectacular but it did taste it. I had the filet of sole and my husband had the flounder. I almost licked my plate clean. Our appetizer was tasty and our dessert, the chocolate mousse cake, was to die for.

We were going to dinner and a movie and had heard about Caruso's. We had a little trouble finding it. It's in a seemingly abandoned shopping center between an empty grocery store and a Big Al's Grubberia. Inside was a classic Italian restaurant with classy waiters and owned by a real chef from Naples. But, get reservations. We went right... More

Great find. Get past going to a strip mall for a very nice dinner out. Once you are inside you would never know you were in a strip mall. The atmosphere was nice, the food excellent and the wait staff very attentive. I would definitely recommend Caruso. The best veal I have had since moving south 5 years ago. My... More
