Driving to Lake Norman we found ourselves to be very hungry & happened upon Caruso's. Boy are we glad to give it a try. The ambience was very nice but still casual. The service was friendly & attentive. Nice wine list and full bar. Shared the stuffed mushroom appetizer - yum. My friend and I each had salads which were... More

Pleasant modestly upscale environment, but not overly fancy and well-above-average Italian fare. For a starter, try the calamari - not novel, but crisp and tasty, with a flavorful marinara sauce. I'm a Caesar salad buff, and their is worth trying. Again, not novel or "the best ever", but quite good (and it merits repeats on future visits). Their Zuppa di... More

My husband took us there for our 22nd year wedding anniversary. I gave my husband a questioning look as we drove up to a strip mall with, nonetheless pizza and "grubberia" next door. Don't let that fool you because once indoors, you get an instant feeing of intimacy and warmth. The staff is well trained and so nice. We went... More

We have lived in Mooresville four years now. Nothing compares to this restaurant! Food is excellent! Service is excellent! By far our favorite restaurant! Yes, it is located in a small strip mall next to a noisy bar/restaurant, but once you go inside you walk into another world.

From the street this restaurant does not look like much, but give it a try and go in - you won't regret it. Make reservations if going Friday or Saturday night. They have very awesome food. My favorite is the pollo involotini (chicken stuffed with ham, asiago and fontina cheeses, wrapped in bacon, baked and served with a butter sage... More

Lived in New York for 60 yrs. and dined in many good restaraunts. Been to carusos on numerous occasions and a lot of other restaraunts in Mooresville and surrounding area. No comparison out there to carusos!! They should teach the others how to cook good Italian food. Carusos is the real deal.never disappointed

Excellent Italian food and great service. Don't let the low key appearance from the outside fool you. Extremely nice inside with some of the best Italian food I have had in a restaurant. We tried multiple entrees while there from basic pasta to seafood. You can't go wrong. I would recommend making a reservation, especially on the weekends. Turns out... More

This, by far, is the best Italian food in this area and even the surrounding area. I moved here 7 years ago from a town where I lived for 47 years known for it's supreb authentic Itialian food and I ate at all of them many times, so you could say I know good Italian qusine when I get it.... More

Good authentic northern italian food that lets you taste different flavors than the usual italian restaurant chain type dishes. If you have been to Italy with soft laid back atmosphere, than you will feel it here. If you haven't been to Italy than it will give you alittle hint of how Italy's restaurants are different from here. Try the Safron... More
