the food was amazing. We sat outside. The owner even came out and helped the crew. We chatted a bit afterwards. Very nice man with values. Located within walking distance to our Bed and Breakfast, the Lemmond House.

Had lunch at Cafe 157 today. Really liked the fact that I could get a "small plate" salad for about half the price. This allowed me to have three very tasty fish tacos AND very importantly "my fries were crispy" !

Our supper club from church went here. Meal was really small and not what the meal description was. Instead of beef tenderloin it was beef stew meat. No salads, or bread. Too pricey for the portions.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in this area - they have a good selection of vegetarian meals, along with interesting combinations of ingredients in all their menu items. Service has always been outstanding.

Honey mustard and real bacon on rye. Choice of sides which I choose French fries. Meal with a soda was $12. Great ambiance with outdoor seating bit it was... More

We live close to Cafe 157 so we have been there a couple times since. The past 3 times I've been there I have ordered the salmon…yum! But this past time I went there,... More

This is an attractive former bank building in the center of Matthews with ample parking. We live nearby and drop by for dinner every so often. Tonight the scallops special sounded interesting. The scallops were cooked well, not overdone, but with some moistness. The bok choy and risotto were also tasty. However, the price ($35) for three scallops and sides... More
