Great friendly and welcoming staff, great gift shop....the food will address your hunger though we did not find it particularly tasty.
Cute place, friendly waitress - loved her southern charm and accent - yet breakfast of eggs and bacon was served cold. Biscuits were heavy and gravy was cakey. Sorry Vittles, but it's true. I will say that the coffee was good - and hot.
We were just in Maggie Valley and had lunch at the Country Vittles. Excellent service and the food was good. out of 7 of us the food was good except we wouldn't recommend the Pork Cutlet other than that everything else was excellent including their pie.
We ordered our food and it took forever. Then my husband received canned corn and boxed mashed potatoes with his tasteless steak. This is a pleasant, no frills restaurant with the option of all you can eat menu, or a a nicely rounded menu of meals and sandwiches if you don't want the all you can eat. Prices are reasonable, clean dining room and pleasant, friendly service. Good selection of veggies.
This place has a great family style, all you can eat breakfast. They bring you eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits and gravy, home fries and spiced apples. All at a super-reasonable price. But you will be stuffed when you leave, so you better be really hungry!! Loved the food and the service was great too! All the servers are really... More
This place ahs one of the friendliest staffs I know of. They always cut up with us and the food is great. The only day we do not eat with them is Tuesday-they are closed that day.
A group of 16 seniors walked in, no reservations, and were seated immediately. One waitress took care of all 16 of us. The entrée was served very quickly. Many of us had the special of the day - meatloaf with choice of 2 sides. They also had a small gift shop. In short, excellent service, good food and a great... More
We ate family style, fried chicken, green beans, potatoes, hushpuppies, etc. We were a large group of 17 and walked in at 7:30 on a Friday night. They were very accommodating and found a big table for us. The waitresses were very nice, the lady working the register could've been friendlier considering the amt of money we spent. By the... More
