loved the serving style and the bacon and grits were off the hook. Loved our waitress and she was very informative of the area.

Southern Home Cooked Vittles. Folk come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We showed up for lunch/dinner (lunner - why is there a brunch and no lunner?). Basically, there are two ways to attack the vittles. If you're bringing a big appetite, go for the all-you-can-eat option. Prices were reasonable: adults - $ 11.95, kiddies under 10 - $ 6.95.... Very quick service, always a large plate of food. They also sell items to buy for souvenirs. Home fries, bisquit and eggs were very tasty.

We came for breakfast and were told about the all you can eat, where they bring the food in plates to your table. It was consistent and good, everything was cooked to perfection, a good , hot, delicious breakfast. We came back and brought the kids before we went white water rafting, and the affordability was equally enjoyable

As a regular visitor to Maggie Valley, I have tried all of the breakfast spots. Country Vittles is definitely my favorite. They make corned beef hash just how I like it and the eggs are always cooked perfectly to order. The front part of the restaurant is a store that sells knick knacks and souvenirs. It's very dated in my... More

A very enjoyable home cooked lunch while on the road. Would be hard to beat and if you want alchol, go next door after the meal. Better than home, no dishes to clean up. Next time I'm in maggie valley during any meal time, this will be the place I eat at.

Country Vittles is in the center of town. Some of the best cooking around. Get there early or you will be waiting in line.

We hadn't been to Country Vittles since before the no smoking ban went into effect. At that it was a foul smelling greasy spoon. Last week we thought we'd give them a try to see if anything had changed. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised! The place is now clean and freshly painted with a bright cheery atmosphere. (Thank goodness for... More

We had been browsing in the shops and it got to be time for lunch. On the recommendations of several locals, went to Country Vittles. My hubby and I are both picky eaters and both enjoyed our lunch which was delicious, quick service and inexpensive. I had the grilled trout, first time ever and it was great!!!
