This was our second time here and once again, it was delicious! This visit was on a Monday night, we were seated right away and service was friendly. I had the special, country style steak, and it was so good. Not a fancy place, but down-home country cooking and comfort food. I thought $21 was very reasonable for the big... More

The service was good and they can get people in and out without much of a wait. They offer an all you can eat breakfast and dinner which looked good but didn't try.

When a place states it's country cooking they should have real mashed potatoes not instant! Food wasn't that great, lots of gravy covering meat. Small piece of meatloaf per serving (and it was the special of the night). Lemon pie didn't look or taste homemade. Will not visit again. Place needs to be updated looks old. Waitress was nice and... If you're trying to stuff yourself, this is the place. Large portions of institutional quality food...which is understandable with the huge crowds they are accommodating. There is no way they could feed that many people without using prepackaged foods. We were there for lunch. The pork roast was good but the gravy mix was pitiful...canned veggies, etc. The staff was... More

The staff all looked hot and tired. They had no reservation of "hollering" across the dining area for the attention of a co worker. Mashed potatoes were instant and quite bland, veggies were seasoned better, fried steak overlooked, and corn bread was overlooked and hard. Fried chicken was a little better. Between the noise and frazzled wait staff, I was... More

I just got through writing a review about another breakfast place in Maggie Valley that is a little pricey so I thought I would write a review about my other favorite breakfast place and that is Country Vittles. If you want a delicious, low cost, amazing all you can eat breakfast, this is the place to go. The items in... More

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Service was great. The prices are about the best in the area. Love the liver mush!

The sign says all you can eat, but this is misleading as it only applies to select items for breakfast and dinner, and you pay more for the privilege. The rest of the menu is standard fare and format. That said, the food was excellent, as was the service.

We always plan to have breakfast at Country Vittles when we are in Maggie Valley and we are never disappointed. Order the family style breakfast which includes a little bit of everything. Country cooking at it's best and good friendly staff make this a winner!!!
