I had one of the best pulled brisket sandwiches ever. Sauces were awesome. The decor was like an old barn. Must try if your in town.

We initially went there because of the name -- clever. We each had ribs that were some of the best ever. We should have shared a meal because we both left there stuffed. We will go there again when visiting our friends in Waynesville.

Last year while visiting this area several people raved about this place so we tried it last week. The pulled pork was totally tasteless and in fact I almost thought it came out of a can. No flavor to it at all and very dry. One of the worse tasting meats I've eaten. With that said what actually saved the... More

I was very disappointed the last time I went. The restaurant had gone from a go in and sit down and a waitress takes your order to where you go in stand in line at the counter and order then go sit down. Also, with the community being largely retired, handicapped residents and also handicapped tourists visiting there is only... More

You pay when you first walk in then you get your drinks and you have to clean your table. The food was terrible and I wish it wasn't so bc we eat bbq a lot. I will never go back not even if I was paid an unheard of amount of money. We were sick the rest of the day... More

Good place for lunch. Casual service. We like listening to Jonathan Creek as we eat. The glass blower in the gift shop will make sculptures to order or pick beautiful sculptures on display. I like the hummingbirds!

Stopped here for a late lunch and was not disappointed. Sat on the screened porch overlooking the creek. Ordered ribs and pork. Several sauces were available and the sides were very good. First time having fried corn on the cob! The weather was perfect for sitting out side and they had heaters going to keep the chill off. Worth the... More

Okay, the four of us had a BBQ salad, so maybe it isn't enough to qualify us for being able to rate the BBQ. Our salad was large, with a generous portion of BBQ, and it was quite tasty. The kicker at this place is the fact that you sit just up from the creek, and since it is a... More

I was with a group of thirteen! The restaurant had a great health rating! We ordered first, then were seated! There were a wide range of meals to order plus a lot of sides on the menu! Our food came to our table quickly, hot and fresh! The wait staff were nice, sweet and on the ball! They checked on... More

My favorites were the pulled pork with their mustard BBQ sauce and the deep fried corn on the cob. Pork ribs were also tasty with just the right balance between tenderness and chew. Beef brisket was a little dry. Others in our party enjoyed the chicken and the turkey sandwich. Very nice to sit on the screened in porch and... More
