Everything about this place is awesome. The food, the portions, the value, the staff, the view... everything was awesome. Took my kids to Maggie Valley for a week and we always like to try local fare. You should definitely try this spot.

First of all, there isn't much atmosphere. You go up to a counter and order your food. My barbecued ribs were the worst I've ever had. They were dry and apparently had been in the warmer too long. My husband had barbecued chicken which was not very good either. We are sorry we went there.

BBQ was ok. Service good. But still a must see in Maggie. Sit in the back and the view and sound of the roaring creek are not to be beat.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was missing that smoky flavor you seek when eating BBQ. It tasted like it had been cooked somewhere else and microwaved before putting it on my plate. The sauces were so so. The ambiance isn't that great either. There were basically some tables put on the enclosed porch and it was called... More

Nice place, rustic and tucked away. Had to wait til the end of the week to give it a try as it wasn't open til Thursday. Bice selection of BBQ with a good variety of sauces and sides.

I had one of the best pulled brisket sandwiches ever. Sauces were awesome. The decor was like an old barn. Must try if your in town.

We initially went there because of the name -- clever. We each had ribs that were some of the best ever. We should have shared a meal because we both left there stuffed. We will go there again when visiting our friends in Waynesville.

Last year while visiting this area several people raved about this place so we tried it last week. The pulled pork was totally tasteless and in fact I almost thought it came out of a can. No flavor to it at all and very dry. One of the worse tasting meats I've eaten. With that said what actually saved the... More

I was very disappointed the last time I went. The restaurant had gone from a go in and sit down and a waitress takes your order to where you go in stand in line at the counter and order then go sit down. Also, with the community being largely retired, handicapped residents and also handicapped tourists visiting there is only... More

You pay when you first walk in then you get your drinks and you have to clean your table. The food was terrible and I wish it wasn't so bc we eat bbq a lot. I will never go back not even if I was paid an unheard of amount of money. We were sick the rest of the day... More
