relaxed and enjoyable folks make this a real find... off the main drag, but situated on a lovely creek in the shade of the day. BBQ and sauce are excellent.

Butts on the Creek have been in the Valley for 16 years. When the opened they had a great staff, delicious BBQ meats and side orders. The original Pit Master they had for a few years was amazing. Meats were always moist and flavorful! The last few years have been on a downhill run in all areas. One pet peeve... More

I like my sauce good in my hog not on the side . We went in for dinner . The people that worked there were nice . We haven't been back .

My husband was drawn in my the restaurant's name. We arrived after the lunch crowd had mostly finished. I had the homemade onion rings. Treat yourself, these are worth it. The BBQ was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great lunch, would definitely do it again.

Everything about this place is awesome. The food, the portions, the value, the staff, the view... everything was awesome. Took my kids to Maggie Valley for a week and we always like to try local fare. You should definitely try this spot.

First of all, there isn't much atmosphere. You go up to a counter and order your food. My barbecued ribs were the worst I've ever had. They were dry and apparently had been in the warmer too long. My husband had barbecued chicken which was not very good either. We are sorry we went there.

BBQ was ok. Service good. But still a must see in Maggie. Sit in the back and the view and sound of the roaring creek are not to be beat.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it was missing that smoky flavor you seek when eating BBQ. It tasted like it had been cooked somewhere else and microwaved before putting it on my plate. The sauces were so so. The ambiance isn't that great either. There were basically some tables put on the enclosed porch and it was called... More

Nice place, rustic and tucked away. Had to wait til the end of the week to give it a try as it wasn't open til Thursday. Bice selection of BBQ with a good variety of sauces and sides.

I had one of the best pulled brisket sandwiches ever. Sauces were awesome. The decor was like an old barn. Must try if your in town.
