The smoked turkey was real good and the portions were large but the BBQ was mostly taseless and shredded not pulled. They offer 3 sauces all of which were ok but none was great. The pork didn't seem to be seasoned much at all and was chopped to a hash like condition which is far from the promised pulled presetation.... More

Very rustic, order at the counter and have meal brought to the table. Screened in eating near the creek, so very nice. Food was good, but have had better barbeque ribs

This is a great place to eat and has it's own charm and atmosphere. Very family friendly and cozy. Your dinning room is on a screened in covered porch which is great, but when the humidity is up, it is raining, or if you visit late in the season, it can be a bit uncomfortable. I cannot say enough about... More

This place has delicious pork, briskets and sides. You must try the fried corn on the cob!! The honey barbq sauce is to die for. The resturant now has a gift shop as well with really pretty crystal pieces and had blown glass vases.

My husband and I visited during the Labor Day weekend (2014), before the crowds hit, fortunately. We found friendly staff and a wonderful screened dining "porch" overlooking Jonathan Creek. The pulled pork was good, and the onion rings were to-die-for. At first I was a little leery of their sauces (molasses, spicy vinegar, and mustard based). I work in Lexington,... More

Delicious food, large portions, friendly service, very reasonable prices. I ordered the BBQ sandwich and fried corn, which was interesting and good, like something you'd get at the state fair. Husband ordered ribs and brisket, beans and potato salad - he left nothing behind and was stuffed! Three different sauces on the table to add to the meat which were... More

You will love this restaurant! Ribs that fall off the bone, fried corn and much more! Also, check the hand blown items. You can order anything and watch her make it while you wait.
