Hoped for an interesting BBQ meal. Didn't get one.. If you're looking for BBQ and service this place doesn't have it...... Unfortunately...... Tables on the back porch overlook Jonathan's Creek and it's a great setting but thats where what I hoped for ended.... Walking in, other than looking straight at the bathroom doors, the lady doing glass blowing seems to... More

First place I tried on vacation. With the above comment considered, the only draw back was the ribs & BBQ were a bit dry. I suggest taking it home slathering it with sauce and slowly heating it to get it moist. That's what I did, unfortunately some of the outside parts I threw away, when you enter you order and... More

Great place to eat!!! The fried corn is absolutely delicious. I had the brisket and would definitely order it again. Plus the sound of the creek outside adds flavor to the food!!!

We stopped by BOTC again this trip to give it another go. We used to visit when this place was all the rage (I think it was a different owner - I truly miss the squash casserole). The food is pretty good for a quick lunch. We did find that the brownie and banana pudding were standouts from the menu... More

Food was okay, the barbecue sauces were good. It was fun to sit on the river. There is a glass blower there that is fun to watch.

Good food, and lots of it for a good price. We were there for lunch, and loving eating on the back screened in porch, right beside the creek.

I have eaten here every time I come into the Valley. This is the best BBQ in the state!!! They also serve fried corn on the cob. If you have never had it, try it, you won't regret it!!!

Arrived for dinner with my wife ,the place looked ok. Our server informed us there was no pork or parsley potatoes .At this time two other couples got up and walked out. Good Move!!! We ordered drinks and something else off the menu. The brisket my wife ordered was dry and the vegetables were soggy. My meal was fair at... More

This was our first time eating here and the food was good and not as expensive as other places in Maggie Valley. I think for 14.97 you received a half rack of ribs (that was pretty good; not the best I've ever ate though), 1/4 lb pulled pork, two sides (I got the fried corn and parsley potatoes and they...
