Myself, my mother and my 6 year old daughter visited J. Arthurs for dinner. I had the ribs which were to die for. My mother had the grilled pork chop and loved it. My daughter was given a free hot fudge sundae for her birthday. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The employees were very gracious and offered to take our... More

We are nearby locals and occasionally eat at J Arthurs when we have a small group. The restaurant is decorated nicely for Christmas, the service is always excellent. The menu offered a nice variety of choices. However, food quality is barely average ar a little below. Preparation is diner quality so adjust expectations accordingly,

They currently have a 24 foot decorated Christmas tree in the main dining room. It is awesome, to put it mildly!! The whole restaurant is decorated. Do not miss this spectacular site in Maggie Valley

The first thing you notice is the cozy atmosphere with a train running along the wall above you. They had just brought in a gigantic Christmas Tree... More

great food, you will remember this meal, and very attentive service. you may have to wait because everybody goes here. and the price is somewhat higher than most restaurants in this area. but worth it.

Always welcoming, with a great rustic atmosphere. Try the mountain trout or the ribs. Intimate bar area with booths for dining. Beautiful main dining room with fireplace. Upstairs seating good for bigger groups. The annual Christmas tree is a must-see!
