From what we could tell J Arthurs was the nicest restaurant in Maggie Valley. The server was very nice and the food good, not fabulous. It's very pricey but there are so few good dining options in the area. more

I am a Maggie Valley local and have been to J. Arthurs many, many times. I enjoy the bar area which is non-smoking in addition to the entire restaurant and I prefer to spend my money in SMOKE-FREE establishments. I thought this was a really nice restaurant. The prices might be a little expensive for some people, but it was worth it. The food was great.
